Summary: How to die with grace and meaning
Review: My mother died of cancer last year and could not deal with it at all, even up to her last lucid moments. If she had been able to read this book it may have articulated for her some of her feelings and fears and made the whole journey easier for all of us. The story is an inspiring lesson in living and highlights values we should all embrace.

Summary: Tuesdays with Morrie
Review: An unbelievably touching book. If I had one book to recomend, this would be it. From start to finish you can relate and reflect with the author and his subject. There are few books out there that I "just can't put down" and this would be one of them.

Summary: Tuesdays with Morrie
Review: Tuesdays with Morrie was one of the most outstanding books I have ever read. It gives you a new way to look at life and remember that time really goes by quickly. His story isn't unrealistic where you would just put the book back on the shelf. I couldn't keep my eyes out of the book once I starting reading it!

Great job on writing the book! I am sure that everyone that reads this book will really enjoy it!

Summary: An Inspiration to the Human Race
Review: I have read "Tuesdays With Morrie" 3 times in the last year, and each reading has the same profound impact on my soul. Morrie's strength and courage in the face of adversity should inspire everyone to live their life to the fullest. Yes, sometimes the messages are "cliche and trite" as some other reviewers have said, but they are messages that the human race needs to hear over and over again. They are gentle reminders of how we should treat eachother and ourselves - with compassion, love, encouragement, hope, forgiveness, adventure, and empathy. How fortunate we are that Morrie permitted Mitch to share the "final lesson" with all of us. I can only hope that we aren't to cynical and self-absorbed to toss it aside. I highly suggest this book to anyone with the ambition to make themself a better person and the world a better place.

Summary: Will make you think about life
Review: This book was excellent. It provided many insights on life and how one can live a fulfilling life even when faced with death. To be at peace with your own up and coming death, is remarkable. Not only does this book demonstrate how to deal with dying (especially one's own death), but it also teaches how to press on and continue giving all even when there is little left to give.

Summary: Simple Wisdom
Review: This book reveals how the young and the old are one in the same on the level of soul. The relationship created between Morrie and Mitch became far more than one personality meeting another. The invisible bonds that brought their relationship together will forever link them. The message of this book shares universal truths that unite us all. Anyone who reads this book will find simple wisdom contained within each page. The many reviews on this web page is a reminder just how deep and expansive our relationships can travel. Morrie will be far more than a memory, he will be a living presence to all who knew him. Truly, our capacity to love and be loved is a testimony to just how spiritual this book really is. Summary: Profoundly Moving - Carpe Diem - Humor
Review: I started reading this book two nights ago. This morning, I read 3/4 of the book so I could finish it. Now I know why my husband, who doesn't read for pleasure too often, couldn't put this book down.

The wisdom Morrie imparts during his visits with Mitch is full of life lessons we can all use. It helps to ground us spiritually and emotionally as we start this year.

What a blessing Mitch Albom and Morrie were to eachother! What a joy it is to have them share their story with the rest of us. I feel that this book is a stepping stone which I will use to bring about positive change in my life.

Summary: A Light Book With Deep Meaning
Review: At the time I read this book, I was going through personal circumstances that made my experience with the book that more meaningful. That being said, my greatest complaint is that I wish the book had more of Morrie, and less of the author. On the whole, however, this is a book that I am recommending to many people, and helps to renew my respect for our elders.

Summary: This book hits close to home!
Review: As one who recently lost my mentor Tuesdays with Morrie hits close to home. This book underscores the significance of having a guide and a mentor in our lives. I learned so much from my mentor. He was the person I turned to and asked for guidance and help. For me Tuesdays with Morrie teaches us to evaluate and prioritize out relationships and seek out those older and wiser than us for help and guidance. My mentor died suddenly of a heart attack. A great loss. Let us appreciate life and our loved ones before it's too late, for life is too short.

Summary: What's the big deal?
Review: I thought this book was absolutely shallow and devoid of any real substance. Just a bunch of trite and pithy statements. I fail to see why everyone loves this so much! It bored me to death (no pun intended)!
