Summary: SAFETY IN NUMBERS
Review: I read Tuesdays with Morrie because it has been on the best seller list for so long I thought, "There must be something here." There is. This is a heartfelt story of friendship and emotional maturing and deserves the bravos it has received.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Over-Hyped and Simplistic
Review: After reading this book I could only conclude that the great publicity this book has recieved is the result of a follow-the-pack mentality. Although the basic message is good, it is nevertheless simple and could have been more efficiently told in a tenth of the pages.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Been There... Almost Done That
Review: I read this warm, wonderful and truth-laden book not long after recovering from a recent heart attack. After having come so close to being in Morrie's position, I can easily concur with his discovery that we need to let all whom we love know it as soon and as often as possible and that we should feel free to literally wollow in this love and closeness before death has a chance to sneak up on us. This and other messages contained in this very human, no-nonsense, lovingly-told jewel are pertinent, universal and eternal. Get it.

Summary: A good book that happens to be obscenely overpriced
Review: I enjoyed reading this book. I purchased it. I should have checked it out from the library. It takes about 90-120 minutes to read, and is very touching. It would help if some of the money being paid was going to research on Lou Gehrigs Disease. Unfortunately it is most likely going to pad the pocket of the author and publishers. This takes away some of the pure emotion of the book (in my opinion). I am going to circulate my copy to friends because it is such a touching story. However, I am not going to encourage them to pay for it, because it is not a book that will ever earn that kind of price in its use. The book's content is a touching story of life and death. It is a good book.

Summary: disappointing
Review: I, too, had heard so much about this book, and sat down to read it on a Friday night. I found it empty, and I felt unfulfilled. The book was not nearly as cathartic as I had hoped (or heard) it would be.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Too many life lessons to count
Review: I loved Tuesday's With Morrie! Anyone who has lived through the experiences of watching someone die will appreciate this book. It teaches so much about life and how to not take everything for granted. I would recommend it to anyone of any age.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Absolutely Touching
Review: I learned more about life through this book than about facing death. Morrie left us with a present by letting us share in his thoughts of life and Mitch wrote it for us in a most eloquent manner. Kudos to both! I encourage all to read it and take all it offers- and it does offer a great deal.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Not to die, But to live again
Review: This book can get even kids to read! The type of literature is great as well as the words. Everyone should read this to get a lesson on life.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A Great Book For All Ages
Review: This is a good book it has both happy and sad molments. There are many things I liked about the book this is only one, that Mitch went back to visit his old teacher after 20 years of not seing him at all after he promised to come back. The only thing I did not like aboult the book is The medcine for als to help slown it down came to late for Morrie. I think people of all ages wold enjoy this book because it teaches you about death and how not to be scared of it.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Terrific book!
Review: This book is one of the best I've read recently. Although the language isn't fancy, the imagery Albom creates is fantastic. Hopefully, you will have read this book before you watched the TV movie.
