Review: When we get caught up in our busy work lives, we neglect the fundamental aspects of love, compassion and giving that should always been in the forefront of our thoughts. Morrie teaches how to always keep these thoughts where they belong leading to a more meaningful and enjoyable life.

Review: No matter if you're 8 or 80, I think this book contains important lessons on life for everybody. It's a sweet and real story, that will probably touch everybody's heart, and we all can learn from it: life is fragile. I also liked the handy size of this hardcover version as it fits into my purse and I can carry it with me all the time. Another book that I highly recommend, because it discusses the key issues in life fervently, is Dietmar Scherf's "I Love Me: Avoiding and Overcoming Depression" also available.

Summary: Someone Who Touched The Lives Of Many
Review: This book held such a powerful impact on my own father. His father, my grandfather, our family mentor was dying when my father read this book and suggested it to me. That may not mean much to some people, but if anyone knew that my father was the type of man who did not show a lot of emotion on the exterior and worked constantly, they would understand. I did read this book upon his suggestion after the passing of my grandfather, and I could not put it down. It is people like Morrie that give to the true meaning of life. I think that Mitch Albom did many people a favor by writing this book. It's his hard efforts and conversations with Morrie that will continue to make people slow down and savor the relationships they have with the mentors they have been blessed with in their lives.

Review: I would recommend this book to anyone who likes the Chicken Soup for the Soul series but I thought it was a little silly and sentimental.
