Summary: Why don't we make our own culture?
Review: If you are reading this, you might read this book, "Tuesdays with Morrie" by Mitch Albom already, or if not, I bet you are going to love it, because it is very clear and great to read. And you can not stop reading it after you start reading it. I don't want to talk about the story because other people already told you. But I want to introduce you my favorite aphorism of Morrie's; " The culture we have doesn't make us feel good." I've been suffering a lot with the culture. Why don't we make our own culture? Let's do it!

Summary: A Story of Love and Wisdom
Review: When Mitch Albom, a sports writer for the "Detroit Free Press, accidentally discovered that his college professor and mentor of twenty years ago, Morrie Schwartz, was dying from ALS (commonly known as Lou Gehrig's Disease), he felt compelled to fly to Massachusetts to renew the old relationship. The first Tuesday meeting led to weekly meetings every Tuesday for the next twelve weeks during which Schwartz once again became the mentor and Albom the pupil. In simple and effective language, Albom chronicles these meetings which served to fill a need in each man's life. For the dying Schwartz, the meetings became an oasis of friendship, love, and purpose on which he could focus during his time of terrible suffering. For Albom the meetings became a prism through which he could see facets of his own life with greater clarity.The story is inspirational rather than maudlin. It forces readers to reflect on the fact of their own mortality and on the state of their relationships with those who are closest to them. I found it deeply moving. I recommend the book to you.

Review: In a few simple words, you can describe this book as inspiring, beautiful, touching, moving, and life-changing. This is the type of book that you read and then want to go and order 100 of to give as gifts to all of your family and friends. I'm not a big re-reader of books, but I've read this 3 times, and still plan to go back to it again. It reminds me of what is important in life and it is written with wonderful expression and honesty. You will love it!

Review: Tuesdays with Morrie consists of life lessons and real values that a person could utilize to exercise a better living environment. This book exudes constant inspiration to recognize and pursue the more important things in life. Morrie Schwartz gives the guidelines to understanding death and dying in a matter that permits you to live better. By Mitch Albom visiting Morrie and learning the lessons Morrie had to teach, his life was changed dramatically. Reading Tuesdays with Morrie will definitely teach you more about life, living and dying, and will change you in a way you will be highly grateful for and will never forget.

Review: When wanting to learn lessons about life and its experiences, one should read "Tuesdays with Morrie" by Mitch Albom. This book can be an inspiration to us all. When wanting to see what a true friendship is about one should pick up this page turner and venture through it. Not only does Albom portray a great friendship throughout the book, but also he manages to incorporate the casualties of life. The book is filled with many powerful insights. Insights that seem to always come from Morries heart. He kept his life simple yet meaninful, which is an inspiration for us to live our lives to the fullest. It seems Morrie devoted his life to helping others by attempting to guide them through the journey of life. " Morrie was looking at life from some very different place than anyone else I knew." (Albom 63) Morrie spent a good portion of his life trying to create his own beliefs and not follow in the footsteps of others; almost in a sense he was trying to create his own culture not paying much attention to society's standards. Life has many lessons and quirks to it. It is in "Tuesdays with Morrie" that Mitch Albom shares with us the teachings of Morrie Schwartz. Not only are Morrie's lessons about life revealed throughout the novel, the reader is able to witness almost a complete makeover of a human being. "Tuesdays with Morrie" is a book in which one should not miss out on. There is so much to be discovered while reading the book, anyone who picks up this book is very fortunate to read the lessons of life that Morrie Schwartz teaches.

Summary: my review on mitch's final report; tuesdays with Morrie
Review: Before I entered college there was an assignment where we had to read two books over the summer. One of the books that I read was tuesdays with Morrie. I feel as though this was a very good book for college students to read. It helped me understand what I had to look forward to when I go into college. I thought this book made me think about my older relatives. Mitch spent a lot of time with Morrie through the days that he had left to live. Mitch learned a lot from Morrie not only by his teaching style but most importantly by his life lessons.

Review: After reading "Tuesdays With Morrie" I had a total different view of life. This book helped me to realize that I needed to look at life in a different aspect. It's about death, love and not revolving your life around material things. After reading this book it brought me closer to a lot of family I haven't talked to in awhile. My family and I have become much closer and I thank this book. I no longer look for the wrong in people, but instead let love flow. It makes one realize that death is not the end, but a learning experience. It makes one realize that love should break through any emotion no matter what has previously happened. This was the best book I have ever read in my life. It will help anyone see the good in life, instead of the bad.

Review: This novel has moved so many to tears. "Tuesdays with Morrie" is an emotional testimony to the true meaning of love and life in this world. Morrie really understood this time we live in. Morrie was able to see how people are caught up in their material possessions and their jobs. As I read through the book "Tuesdays with Morrie," it made me realize how I take everything for granted - my school, my possessions, my friends, and my family. This is the final lesson from the teacher to the student. Any person who cares about superficial values over true values should read this novel. The lessons learned will never be forgotten.

Review: I think that Tuesdays with Morrie is an inspirational story about the 78 year old man that wasn't a celebrity, wasn't a well known mind but was an ordinary man that had to face life's greatest challenge, death.In doing so, he touched and affected the lives of everyone he knew and changed their lives forever. This is a book that has no problem keeping the readers interest and fills the reader with anticipation of what the next chapter holds. This book puts many of life's questions into a new perspective and a simple one at that. I suggest that you read this because it is an excellently written book that is an inspiring story that will leave you with a connection to Morrie emotionally and maybe even a better sense of life's biggest concerns.

A former student of his, Mitch Albom, comes and talks to Morrie to learn about the important issues in life and what it means to be listen to even through death. This book brings out the good morals in life and how each of these issues will bring out the good in you and help you live a better life. I reccomend that you fead this book becasue it inspires you so much and just warms your heart.
