Summary: Tuesday's With Morrie
Review: Tuesday's With Morrie is a book that I feel teaches a great deal about the lessons of life. Throughout the whole book, it makes you sit back and look at life with a whole new outlook. It is about a College Professor named Morrie, who is a fun, loving, and energetic individual. He is well liked by everyone! Morrie is in his seventies when he is told he has ALS, a disease slowly taking over his body from his feet up, until he no longer has any feeling in his body. Morrie has many visitors in his final stages, and one was Mitch Albom,a former student of Morrie's. They had a very close relationship in the past and Mitch promised him that he would keep in touch. It took Mitch many years and a nightline show to finally get him to visit Morrie. They then make it a date, every Tuesday they will meet, until the last. They talk about the meaning and values of life. Morrie helps Mitch to realize all of the important things in life and not to take things for granted. He quotes "Once you learn to live, you learn to die". I feel that this quote sums up the book. Morrie has lived a good life, but when he is told he only has so long to live, he wants to spend as much time as he can with the ones he loves. He learns to appreciate all the small things in life and make the best of every day. I really enjoyed this book and learned about what to value in my life.

Summary: Saving Lives
Review: Whether you are old or young, you always need someone watching over you in life. Someone needs to give you advice when times are rough, have a shoulder for you to cry on, and encourage you while you succeed. You need help in paving a road of moral values, and guidance in setting your priorities in line. Most of all, As you go through life, you need friends.

In Tuesdays With Morrie, Morrie befriends Mitch during college. Morrie was a tremendous influence on Mitch and taught him several life lessons. Mitch was excited to learn, and take Morrie's courses. Mitch learned social skills, reasons for people's actions, and the truth of society. However, after graduating from college, Mitch lost many lessons that he was taught. After hearing of Morrie's disease, Mitch returns to his old professor. Morrie helps him to re-evaluate his life, and get his tracks back inline.

Tuesdays With Morrie is the most encouraging book that I have ever read. Humor is mixed with drama, and every thought that comes from Morrie is applicable to my own life. I was fascinated with the truth of our culture that was revealed, and Morrie's love and passion for people. I have recomended this book to several of my friends, not only for a good read, but also to sooth some of the hard times that life delivers.

Summary: Tuesdays with Morrie
Review: Tuesday's with Morrie by Mitch Albom is a true story of a friendship that Mitch has with one of his college professor's, Morrie Schwartz. After Mitch graduates from college he loses contact with Morrie for 16 years. Until one day Mitch is watching T.V. and sees a Dateline interview with Morrie. Soon after Mitch returns to see Morrie. Mitch would come back every tuesday to talk with Morrie about numerous subjects. All these talks were actually a lesson that would eventually lead to the making of this book. This book is very good. It gives you Morrie's opinion on many different subjects. This book makes you think, laugh, and sometimes feel sad. This is a very good book and I would recommend it to anyone.

Summary: Tuesday people
Review: Tuesdays with Morrie is a book with a good story. It is about a man name Morrie and one of his old students, Mitch. Morrie had a disease called ALS, it was a slow and torterous death and no one should had to go through or see anyone go through this disease. Morrie was an energtic man who loved to dance and go wild. He was very dependant on his body to help him to these things. While the disease kicked in, he lost his body in small portions which took his soul away a little at a time. Even though he knew he was dying, he still talked to all his friends and family and said goodbye in his own special way. The reason why it is called "Tuesdays with Morrie," is because that is the day Mitch went and saw Morrie every week until his passing. I wouldn't recommend this book unless you can discuss it with others. That way if you couldn't figure out some of the things he said then others could help you figure out these things. I read it with my College Communications class and some of the quotes he said were not clear to me, but other classmates knew and explained it to me. This is a book to read with a group of people, young or old.

Summary: Tuesdays With Morrie
Review: I truly enjoyed reading this book and never wanted to put it down while I read it. I found this to be a very inspirational book, a type of book that could change your view on some things. Morrie was a very unique individual who took great interest in his job. I don't think that Morrie actually considered his job to be a real job. He didn't go be a Professor each day just to get a paycheck. He wanted to teach his students the lessons that he learned in life and share his experiences with them. I thought that they way Morrie and Mich were reunited was very unique. It was said that Mitch only made time for Morrie after he saw him on a T.V. special because he was dying, but I think it turned out well because it at least brought them some time together before Morrie died. Morrie had his days when he was good and his days when he was bad. Overall, Morrie handled the fact that he was dying very well. He quoted, "once you lern how to die, you learn how to live," I think that this is very true and Morrie was fortunate enough to be able to learn how to die since he knew he had an illness and was dying. Overall, I definately give this book 5 stars!! Parts of this book will make you laugh while others will make you cry. I think this book will definately change your outlook on life! Everyone should read Tuesdays with Morrie!

Review: Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom is an awesome story. It shows how the author dealt with real-life situations, mainly the dying of his mentor, a former college professor. Morrie Schwartz not only teaches Mitch a few college courses, but life lessons as well. Mitch enjoys his company and soon graduates from college. Mitch moves on to the next step in his life and loses touch with Morrie. March, 1995 arrives and Ted Koppel, from ABC's "Nightline" brings the set to Morrie's house. The anchor has come to interview this amazing man's fight to live. Morrie explains what he has been doing to enjoy the last few months of his life. When this interview airs, Mitch recognizes his mentor and decides to visit Morrie. Mitch begins to visit Morrie every Tuesday. They talk about everything, and it's almost as if he has joined Morrie for one final semester. Morrie gives Mitch advice and continues to teach him things. MItch stays with Morrie until his final breath. This is a heartwarming story and can teach many lessons. I give this book 5 stars. I really enjoyed it. Review: Tuesday's With Morrie is a book I believe everyone should read. Many people claim not to have enough time to read a book, but this book stresses the importance of time. After reading this book I realized that I needed to slow down and decide where I should be putting the most of my time and effort into. Although this book takes you on a journey through the last few months of a mans life, it's focus is not on death. The focus is on living you life to the fullest extent.
