Rating: Summary: Life's forgotten lessons Review: Tuesday with Morrie is a great book. It has many lessons about life that have seem to be forgotten. Not only does Morrie share life lessons with Mitch, but he also shares intuition with the world when he is interviewed. We all have friends and family members that live life to fast and have lost track of the important things in life and now only focus on the materialistic part of life. This book will let them know that there is a lot more to live for and having the bigger house does not always mean you are the better person. All in all this is a great book and I highly recommend it to everyone.

Rating: Summary: Tuesdays With Morrie Review: Tuesdays With Morrie is a good book for people who are not living life to the fullist. People whose lives only revolve around work, money and material items. You will learn that life can be over before you know it. You need to learn to appreciate life, and live every day as if tommorow is your last. Morrie is able to explain all this even though he is dealing with a fatal illness.
Rating: Summary: It's about life Review: I read this book thinking to gain information about ALS, but that's not really what it's about. In spite of dealing with death, this short little book is about life and love and enjoying what you have when things look the most bleak. It's more about giving and accepting than about losing. Morrie Schwartz, losing his body bit by bit to Lou Gerhig's disease, offers what is in his heart and mind and, in doing so, lives life rather fully to the very end. His former student, Mitch Albom, visiting on Tuesdays, accepts the gift of his mentor's humor and wisdom, and then passes it on to us along with Morrie's biggest lesson: "Love wins." I laughed and cried and was content at the end, in spite of Morrie's inevitable death.
Rating: Summary: Good for Teaching Review: this book was overall a well written book. it had short meaningful chapters that kept the readers attention. the wisdom that morrie gave is applicable to everyone at all ages. anyone can learn from this book and is a require read for a lot of college courses. there are many perspectives a student can take with writing an essay on it.

Rating: Summary: If you think you know everything - Read this book! Review: There aren't many books that I can't put down, that I wish would never end; Tuesdays with Morrie is one of them. Unfortunately, this book has an inescapable end. It leaves the reader with the valuable lesson of coming to terms with his or her own mortality - and living life with no regrets.Morrie got to me on a personal level; he reminded me of an old friend, and our own discussions over the years. Talking, but more importantly listening, about life. Morrie knew what it really meant to be a human: To be compassionate - an attribute that is important to any relationship. If you think you know everything...read this book.
