Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A most profound, throught provoking, long lasting book.
Review: I believe we all would like to have known someone like Morrie. If we had more Morrie's in the world we would have better communication, respect and love. This is a book that should be open and visible in each home, everywhere. Open it often and read Morrie's words. Think about them and use daily. Long live the spirit of Morrie.

Summary: Wonderful
Review: A friend of mine recently told me that one of the highest compliments you can give a writer on their work is to wish you had written something just as well done, and powerful. That is exactly what Mitch Albom has done. Tuesdays with Morrie is an outstanding book that makes, at least this reader, wish he had written a book just like it.

Summary: This book opened a door into my heart
Review: I am reading this book at a time in my life when I can understand exactly where Mitch Albom was coming from when he first started visiting Morrie. I am a college student faced with writing a term paper and studying for a biochemistry exam, both which must be completed within a week, and I suddenly realized, while reading this book during a study break, how little time I take in my life to truly appreciate what is around me: the people in my life, the beauty all around me, the love I experience everyday. This book opened a door into my heart. Even though I have always wanted to live my life the way Morrie suggests, to love others and receive their love, such perspectives seem to slip away during the course of a semester. Thanks to Mitch Albom and Morrie Schwartz, for helping me realize what is really important to me in my life.

Summary: A beautiful, life-affirming recount of one man's passing.
Review: I read this book in one sitting...finished it at 4:00am and wept for another hour...stayed up and made a list of those mentors and friends who have touched my own life in ways I hadn't considered before reading this book. The book has moved me to action; I'm finding my old friends and letting them know what they have meant to me while they're still here. The book has also moved me to consider my responsibility as a mentor for others. I have not read a book this moving since Rebecca Brown's "Gifts of the Body". In both of these works, the message is so simple and concise, yet it seems to elude us until someone reminds us of just how lucky we are to have had the friends and experiences that have shaped our lives. I've bought several copies of "Gifts of the Body" to pass on to friends and family. With "Tuesdays With Morrie", I have a new selection to share with those special people. My thanks to Mitch and Morrie for a great personal lesson.

Summary: This is a great book I recommend this book to mature readers
Review: This book is very touching and gives you a challenge, how are you living your life? Morrie, a former college professor poses many questions to the reader not only about life but about oneself. I recommend this book to high school seniors entering college, this book will challenge your way of life as you enter adulthood and start on your own. As a high school senior myself I have learned many great lessons from this book.

Summary: This book is what I'm giving close friends for Christmas.
Review: Extremely readable and unpretentious. Mitch Albom taps into thoughts and feelings that many of us have, unfortunately, tuned out. I felt peaceful upon completing this book, and have actually taped the picture of Morrie dancing near my computer screen. In the desensitized world many of us live in, this book is a two to three hour personal retreat.

Summary: One of the most touching and moving books I've ever read.
Review: This is the kind of book that you get as a gift for people that you care about. It is a tear-jerker, not because it is sad, but because it touches your heart and mind. I have read many books but none that I want to buy for others in the way that I want to give this book as a gift. I want to share Morrie's wonderful outlook on life with those people that I love.

Summary: Moving, warm and delightful reading
Review: Late in coming to reading this book. Found it very warm and moving. Insightful with plenty of words of wisdom. If we would only live by Morrie's philosophy, this world would be a better place.

Summary: An inspirational, emotionally empowering masterpiece.
Review: I greatly enjoyed this book. The underlying meaning and substance of this story unearthed emotions I never knew existed. It is a well-written, powerful novel that can be read and interpreted by anyone.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: inspirational and easy to read
Review: I can see why this book has been a best-seller for almost a year. It is a moving book and, because the chapters are short, it is an easy book to pick up and put down at will.
