Rating: Summary: Life's Lessons Review: This book teaches life's important lessons in a touching format, student/teacher relationship. It allows the reader to gain knowledge not commonly understood by younger generations without the benefit of experience.
Rating: Summary: A really sad book! Review: I thought this book was very good and intersting! I liked this book because it was true! Morrie was very intersting person because he thought of life differntly than everyone else! I rated it 5 stars because it was a cute book!
Rating: Summary: Do not be afraid to read this book for fear it is depressing Review: Reading this book is a gentle and uplifting expierence that everyone deserves.
Rating: Summary: This book will stop you in your tracks Review: "Tuesday's with Morrie" is a book that deals with joy, love, death, sadness, distance, and most of all honesty. It is astonishing to see the evolution of two human beings coming to terms with conditions in life. Albom with his past and Morrie with his future. I recommend everyone who is struggling to find meaning in their day-to-day actions to read this book.
Rating: Summary: A great lesson for life. Review: Tuesdays With Morrie is a book that sums up the great lessons for a life. Morrie talks about the values, morals and priorities that everyone should have in their live. I am going to let each one of my five children read it, when they are age appropriate, so they can get a great lesson in the important values of life.
Rating: Summary: A wonderful story of healing a restless soul. Review: This book is the BEST tool for learning how to live in the present. It will heal your depression, anger, or confusion. The story allows the mind to come to rest after so many years of pain.
Rating: Summary: Love or Perish could be another title for this book Review: What shines through in this biographical sketch of Morrie"s last days on earth is Mitch Albom"s love for his former mentor, teacher, and, as he called him, coach. He sheds tears for Morrie's passing at the end of the book and so do we. Thanks to the author's report, we too shed a tear at the passing of a simple but noble human being. And Morrie's lessons to us are a tonic for this violence-ridden culture of ours. Thank you Mitch for sharing a painful but valuable experience with readers all over America and elsewhere. If the book changes the heart and perspective of even one reader about what is important in life, it will have been a successful book. Oh that we all are able to face death with such humor and courage!
Rating: Summary: A Real Lesson on Life Review: This book really made me look into myself and see who I really was. Like Morrie said, there is so much more to life than just the material objects. Believing in yourself is the only way to accomplish your goals. Mitch Albom portrays Morrie as a real person, not just as another character from another book. He makes you realize how important Morrie is to him, and how important he is to everyone, whether you know him or not. If you are troubled and need guidance in your life, or if you just wish to read a really good story, TUESDAYS WITH MORRIE will touch you in a way that will make you fee like you know and love Morrie for who he is and what he did.
Rating: Summary: A MUST-READ! EXCELLENT! Review: I read this book in 2 nights. I recommend it to anyone from the ages of 10 to 110. It makes you appreciate life, growing old, compassion for the sick, and friendship. If you've ever lost someone through a terminal illness, I guarantee you will not be able to put this book down. You'll be laughing and crying throughout this book.
Rating: Summary: heart gripping, non stop reading.>loved it.!!! Review: this book touched me to my very soul.i want to share it and its profoundness with all my family and friends .i feel so mush in common with this little man ,my regret is that i could not have known him or been a student of his. once readers can get beyond the sadness of the illness to the depth and true meaning behind it they will hopefully learn a life lesson for themselves. it is so outstanding ,this book that i have already ordered one for my dad and my mother/father in law. definately a can't put down 5 star book. i have lyme disease and this helps me put new perspective on what i am going through.
