Summary: An enlightening piece
Review: I think that Tuesdays with Morrie is a very enlightening book. Morrie was someone who was able to share his experiences and what he learned through life. This book could draw somebody out of his or her world of acceptance and teach them to live a meaningful life. Morrie had this effect on Mitch Albom and probably thoughsands of other people who read Tuesdays with Morrie. I think that in order for Morrie's words to reach me, I have to read the book again. He has a lot of advice and to understand and absorb it all, I should read it more than once.

Summary: Tuesdays with Morrie was quite an eye-opening book.
Review: I found Tuesdsays with Morrie to be very enlightening. It presents a clear picture of what life is all about and how death should be faced. Morrie was a very inspirational character and a true philosopher of life. The book was not only entertaining but a lesson as well. I would recommend this book to anyone who ever feared death and wondered what their life could ammount to. Although it was rather short, it was to the point. The story of a friendship between a dying old man and a young man truly touches your heart. This book proves that no matter what happens in your life relationships with family and friends are most important.

The way Mitch Albom writes about Morrie and thier discssion topices really intrigued to me. Tuesdays with Morrie is one of those books that you will remember your entire life. Morrie is someone that will touch your heart and stay there until you die. He has such an incredible view on death and I admire him for that. Tuesdays with Morrie is a book that everyone must read at one point in their life, weather you are a child or a grandparent. I highly recommend this book for all to read!

Summary: Tuesdays With Morrie is a page-turner!
Review: I enjoyed this book a lot, it's actually one of my favorite books! I liked this book becasue it made me think, because I am one of those people who keep death inside. Reading Tuesdays with Morrie makes me want to change my outlook on death to that of Morries. I don't want to dread getting old, or be scared of dying. Morrie also has an intersting outlook on life. An example on Morrie's attitude is when he was at a basketball game and everyone was cheering "We are number one" and Morrie stood up and yelled "What's wrong with being number two?" I wish I had that kind of attitude towards things, butI know I don't. This book was very well written and easy to follow. I liked the characters and the detail the author used. I definatly recommend this book to everyone!

Summary: Tuesdays With Morrie is a truely enlightening book
Review: Tuesdays With Morrie is a heart wrenching story about the growing relationship of a professor and his student. Through the book Morrie Schwartz, the professor, and Mitch Albom, the student, talk of many things. They talk about life, love, family, society and death. Death is one of the main topics of the book because of the situation that Morrie is in at the time. Morrie is dying of ALS and doesn't have long to live. Morrie goes through this with the help of Mitch, friends, and family. Every Tuesday Mitch goes to Morrie's house and they talk about a new topic each time. Every talk they have makes the reader think. It is a truely amazing book that you have to read for yourself to understand.

Summary: Alain de Botton has no idea about Tuesdays with Morrie!
Review: Tuesdays with Morrie was good book that taught a great lesson. The New York Times Book Review, by Alain de Botton, was nothing like what I thought of the book. The book was very sad and emotional. Morrie had enlightened me with his point of view on death. I hope that someday I can have the same outlook on death as Morrie did. Alain de Botton must have read a different book because his review was irrevelant, to me, to Tuesdays with Morrie.

Summary: A Great Book Bringing You One Step Closer to Life and Death
Review: Reading on and on, and flying through pages of an outstanding nonfiction book sums up my spell-binding experience, with stories of life and death contained in Tuesdays With Morrie. I shared times of laughter and excitement and times of sorrow, anguish, and pain with author Mitch Albom. As a thirteen year old in ninth grade, I absolutely loved this book. It was well proportioned, written in a way that was very touching. It was a lovely true story that was shocking and sad. The book went strictly to the point of what it was after. It taught me a great deal on different topics, like not being afraid of death, or to always enjoy life even through the toughest times. Having no apparent dislikes I recommend this book to people who can understand the seriousness of this topic and are willing to explore the life of Morrie and his view points. A story of a teacher near death, the joys and sorrows he experiences with his pupil is a biography that brings tears to your eyes. Tuesdays with Morrie is a well-written, organized encounter with the lives of two ordinary men and the legacy that one of them gives us.

Summary: One of my Favorite Books
Review: My friend was supposed to read this book over summer for her summer reading project, and I got it from the library for her to read, and since I had nothing to do, I decided to read this book. It immediately became one of my favorite books. I learned a lot from it, and it really made me look at what I find important. Going to a Catholic all-girls school in Dallas where what's important is what car you or your boyfriend has or what someone wears, it really inspired me to think outside the box. I recommend this book to everyone. I love it.
