Rating: Summary: Life - The most wonderful gift one can ever have! Review: This book has clearly broadened my vision of what life has to offer and of the intricacies that we entangle ourselves in when there is so much more out there to love and live for.I was truly touched by the zest Morrie portrayed and his eagerness to deliver and share his worldy wisdom with anyone who realized the true value of his words. He remained a true teacher fulfilling the the oath of his profession, to his very last days.
Rating: Summary: Morrie on Tuesday Review: I am not an avid reader, but this book has really grab me, I found it so real and could picture the characters in my mind. Not being in good health myself, I do believe reading this book has changed my thoughts about living. I believe this is a book everyone should read at least once.
Rating: Summary: Wonderful book Review: This is a wonderful book. It was much better than the t.v. show. Tuesdays with Morrie and the Mass Market Woman were my two favorite books I read this year. Both made you think about what is important in your life and the importance of living life fully.
Rating: Summary: an inspiring novel Review: Tuesdays with Morrie was the best book I have read in awhile. Though the reader knows right up front that there can be no happy ending, I found myself racing through this book from "tuesday to tuesday" to see what pearls of wisdom the Professor had to offer. Morrie's life was truly dedicated to teaching and the example he set for his pupil as he slowly lost his abilities from his disease was the ultimate lesson in how to really live for Mitch Albom. Mitch learned how to stop and smell the roses from his old professor's tuesday lessons. This book really shows the beauty of the human spirit shining through even in the face of death. I recommend this brief story because it is never too late to learn life's lessons from someone who has tasted life to the fullest and has no regrets.
Rating: Summary: Great! Review: This is a really good book and the movie is wonderful. I hope everybody gets a chance to read this!
Rating: Summary: Tuesdays with Morrie Review: Yes, Morrie was really a man as warm and wonderful as he sounds. He was truly inspiring and so was this book!
Rating: Summary: This is a really good book! Review: This book was written about a college professor who is so dedicated to his work that he teaches his final lesson, using himself as a lesson plan. Along with one of his best students, they work on their "final thesis." This book is written with emotion and feelings that usually are so hard to express.
Rating: Summary: Heartwarming tale of human relationships Review: Three novels have moved me to tears this year--East of the Mountains, The Triumph & Glory, and this wonderful book, Tuesdays with Morrie. It is about facing life's difficulties with honesty and courage, friendship, and farewell. Ten stars and a grateful thank you to the author.
Rating: Summary: i loved this book! Review: it is one of the greatest books that i have ever read(outside of the Star Wars books and the comic book The Black Pearl). i also loved the made for tv movie, starring Hank Azaria, and Jack Lemmon. Lemmon was just right for the part. the movie is what really made want to read the book. Morrie is an old sociology professor, who is stricken with Lou Gerhig's Disease. he is visited every tuesday by a former student, up until the day that Morrie dies. beware, though, this book may be considered a tearjerker!
Rating: Summary: tuesdays with morrie Review: I had an AVM ("stroke") in March. I have Morrie spend Wednesdays with me.
