Summary: Like an adventurous sitcom
Review: There's an unwritten rule in the "burg" bounty hunter Stephanie Plum calls home: if you're dealing with a Mancuso or a Morelli, expect trouble.

Lucky Steph...she's getting a double dose in Two for the Dough. She's been assigned to haul in Kenny Mancuso, a bail jumper who shot his so-called best friend in the knee. Thing is, Kenny doesn't want to be caught, and his distant relative Joe Morelli (if these books become movies they should get Chris Meloni from L&O:SVU to play this guy)really doesn't want Stephanie to catch him, as Kenny's involved in one of his cases.

Did I say double trouble? Perhaps we should raise the ante a bit, seeing as how in the midst of all this Stephanie has to deal with a slimy funeral home director with a missing casket problem and Grandma Mazur's eagerness to help out her granddaughter while at the same time getting great seats for the latest viewings. Talk about putting the "fun" back in "funeral".

Seriously, this is a great followup to One for the Money, and just absorbing the tension between Stephanie and Joe can only guarantee that three through six, and beyond, will be "hot".

Summary: Hilarious
Review: I started reading this book on my lunch hour and I laughed so much that I was afraid other people would think that I was nuts. This was my first Janet Evanovich book. I enjoyed this book so much that I read two more the same week. I am now on my fourth Stephanie Plum book. The characters of Stephanie, Joe, Ranger, and Grandma Mazur are so unique and entertaining. These murder mysteries are so totally different from the usual mystery that I was totally captivated. I hope to read many more.

Summary: Stephanie Simply Sizzles!
Review: Everyone's favorite bounty hunter is back! It is three months after Stephanie Plum's debut in One for the Money that established her career in catching deadbeat bond jumpers. This time Stephanie decides to take an "easier" case, track down Kenny Mancuso, a young first time offender accused of shooting his best friend during a dispute. Stephanie thinks this case will be a piece of cake, after all Kenny is probably nervous about checking into the big house and will succumb to an authoritative figure such as herself. But trouble looms ahead; Mancuso is involved in much more than a heat of the moment shooting. And to make matter worse, Mancuso is cousin to none other than Joe Morelli, the cop who Stephanie continues to have a love/hate affiliation with.

With the help of her mentor, Ranger, and her madcap Grandma Mazur, Stephanie finds herself caught in wild confrontations and mixed up with shady characters. Meanwhile, Joe Morelli is on cousin Kenny's trail too, and he knows that using his seductive charms on Stephanie may give him the edge in apprehending Kenny first. However, the enemy is a bit crazier than anyone anticipates, and all parties who cross his path are putting their lives in grave danger.

Once again, Evanovich proves that she is a master of comical suspense. Jersey born and bred myself, I can say that her accurate portrayal of life in the garden state will leave you in stitches. The writing is witty and the punchy dialogue is delivered with pure Jersey attitude. I liked Evanovich's first book a tad better, but Two for the Dough was a close second. If you want an amusing, explosive read, look no further!

Summary: Funeral homes are usually not this funny
Review: Fashion victim Stephanie Plum is desperately trying to get her act together as a bounty hunter in Trenton in this second book of her crime adventures. But life is oh so hazardous when strange things start happening to the corpses at the local funeral home (vital bits go missing), and her grandmother threatens to tote a gun and Stephanie thinks she has the hots for vice cop Joe Morelli who is distantly related to the bad guy and ... well, that's enough. I don't want to spoil all the fun. You've just gotta read it. OK, so I skipped a few pages, but I still had a lot of laughs.

Summary: Another winner from Janet Evanovich
Review: This book is even better then the first One For The Money, if that's possible. Stephanie Plum is back with Grandma Mazur (my favorite) for another wonderful, exciting, funny adventure! Grandma Mazur's antics once again has me in stitches!! I am on to read book #3 now. Can't wait!

Summary: Excellent read!
Review: Janet Evanovich has created a great, spunky, loveable heroine in Stephanie Plum! I love Kinsey Milhone - the heroine in Sue Grafton's alphabet series, and somebody suggested I read Evanovich. Glad I did!

Check this book out, you won't be disappointed!!!

Summary: Another great one
Review: I have read the whole series and loved them all. Ms. Evanovich does a great job "linking" the characters together through out the Stephanie Plum novels; however, the references are not lost on those who have not started with the first in the series.

Summary: Bounty Hunting At Its Best
Review: I'm normally not a mystery fan, but this book was very entertaining! Stephanie Plum is a wonderful character who shows us that imperfections can be humorous. I can't wait to "devour" Janet Evanovich's next Stephanie Plum book!

Summary: Where's the 6-stars button?!
Review: First, you don't just read JAnet Evanovich. You must safeguard the jewel in your hand. After turning some pages, you might be interrupted by others who want to know WHY ARE YOU LAUGHING? No. don't tell them. If you do, they will want your book! Trust me, family is the worst for swiping something wonderful and gut-wrenching funny like this. If you are new to Janet Evanovich (and it is Evan o V ich. I get it confused. Sorry!) The firt book in the series is ONE FOR THE MONEY. Then, it is TWO FOR THE DOUGH. THREE TO GET DEADLY. Cool, eh! Anyhoo. This story is about a bounty-hunter, ex-lingerie retailer named Stephanie Plum. Her grandparent, GRANDMA MAZUR, has adopted a fascination with funeral parlors. At this time, that helps our hero (I don't like to call women, heroine on account of heroine being a drug and all. Though this is an addictive series - -no, no. I'll stop) Our hero is STEPHANIE PLUM. She tackles two jobs trying to make ends meet. The funeral is missing coffins. And yep, you thought your paycheck was hard to earn! Treat yourself, get the series. Try to keep it underwraps until you have finished reading. Or, buy double, one for the annoying thems and one to hide for yourself. In this, I kid you not!
