Summary: Tears of the Moon
Review: The Jewels of the Sun Trilogy just gets better and better. Granted I am partial to all of Nora's books, this one is definitely a keeper to read over and over. Shawn Gallagher is a true Celt, a brooding loner, with a romantic soul and musical voice. Brenna, on the other hand is a true Irishwoman, with her fiery hair and temper to match. The story of Lady Gwen and Prince Carrick continues in the cottage that brought Jude and Aidan together. Combining the two opposing tempers of Shawn and Brenna with the fairy tale story of Lady Gwen, Tears of the Moon mesmerizes the reader. The backdrop of Ardmore and Gallagher's pub transports the reader to the flourishing Irish coast, somewhat remote, but nevertheless, enchanting. I could not believewhen I read a review saying that Nora has a problem with trilogies. Where has this reviewer been? Obviously, she/he has not read the Born in Fire trilogy. Nora is at her best in her trilogies because she expands on the characters that she brought to life in previous books. This is so in the case of Tears of the Moon. We got to see Aidan and Jude as a married couple, the maturing of Darcy and seeing Brenna in a different light. She is more than a woman of mechanical ability, able to fix a leak or the lorry down at the pub. She is a woman who has loved from afar and the struggle she undergoes to realize she has the courage to face what she feels. I cannot wait to read the continuation of their story as well as Darcy's story in the finale of this trilogy.

Summary: Tears of the Moon -- Excellent Series!
Review: This is the second book in the Gallaghers series in Ireland. Anyone who has any Irish blood in them will just enjoy the descriptions of the characters and scenery that are described in this story!

You can't put this book down once you start reading it. This story features the second Gallagher, Shawn, who is the musician, and cook at the pub, and his relationship with Brenna O'Toole. The story begins with Shawn who recently moves into the Fairy Cottage after Jude and Aidan's marriage. Brenna O'Toole is the fiesty, outspoken family friend of the Gallagher's. She has always had a crush for Shawn, and decides to do something about it in her own way. I won't tell you much - for it will spoil the suspense. Their relationship changes suddenly and Carrick, Prince of the Faeries is brought back into the storyline of Brenna and Shawn's relationship. You'll just have to read it to figure this one out!

The beauty of the Irish isle comes alive with the classic Nora Roberts writing style. As in Roberts past books - the Irish history is rich and colorful. A great book to curl up on the couch and enjoy. Heart of the Sea is the last of the series and I can't wait for it!

Summary: Slow
Review: I think the problem Roberts runs into when she does a trilogy, like this one, is that she fails to bring in truly new things in each book. It's kind of like reading the same thing over and over again, just with different character names subbed in. By the time it gets to the end of the second book, I not only don't care about those characters, I feel I can probably write the third one as well.

Summary: Beautiful romance...
Review: Another lovely story by Nora Roberts! I managed to read this before the 1st in the trilogy (which I just ordered from Amazon.com), so I'm looking forward to reading Aidan's & Darcy's love stories. This book gave me sweet dreams, deep thoughts, & joy in my own ongoing love story. Thank you, Ms. Roberts!

Summary: What a pleasure to read!
Review: The best crafted book from Nora Roberts yet, especially appreciated when you are part Irish and tend to believe in faeries and leprechauns anyway. Takes a little too long to get into "the good part", but nevertheless, a beautiful story line and a nice diversion from the mundane.

Can't wait until the third of this trilolgy comes out. Enjoy!

Summary: Charming
Review: Though you know exactly where this book is going, you'll love going there! Miss Roberts captures the heart and dialogue of Ireland. I was upset when I realized I was on the last pages.

Summary: Wow!
Review: This is the first Nora Roberts book I read - I got it at the airport waiting for a flight and while I don't like to pay full-price, this was worth it! Well-written, detailed character development, multi-faceted plots, and of course, real-life romance - what more could you want from a romance novel! I finished it on the three hour place ride! And went right out and got Irish Rebel for the flight home!

Summary: Didn't want it to end!
Review: Tears of the moon was wonderful ! I couldn't put it down, but at the same time I didn't want it to end. The idea of life long friends forming a romantic relationship is so heart warming. Shawn & Brenna are perfect together! I had formed that opinion with Jewels Of The Sun. I just love the entire Gallegher family I really don't want the trilogy to end!

Summary: Tears of the Moon a pleasure to read
Review: As usual Nora Roberts is able to take her charaters and make you wish that you were one of them. Shawn is the beautiful and classical man with a way of making music in his head and cooking in the kitchen. Brenna is a practical down to earth beautiful woman who chose as her life work a "man's job" in construction and repair and is tough as any on the crew.

Nora Roberts took the differences of these two and made their romance so untypical that it keeps the reader working very hard to keep up with the twists and turns while laughing hard at the word play between each other, with an Irish accent. The love and playfulness of friends and family members is through out the story making the reader enjoy the fun, while realizing the story would not weave together as well without them. As for Brenna and Shawn's romance you wonder page by page who is really taking the lead, with the faerie Carrick and the spirit of Gwen guiding the couple towards their hearts desire.

I am on pins and needles waiting to see what happens in the next book.

Summary: Good, but not her best!
Review: I waited and waited for this book to come out, I even had to arm restle my cousin for the only one left on the shelf, I lost. Maybe I expected too much, maybe it was too soon, regardless the book did not hold it's own. I understand that you need to repeat things, stories, people etc in a trilogy, but, this was just overkill. It just seemed as though it was a totally different book, not part of an ongoing series. The spunk was gone and I loved Brenna for her previous spunk, where did it go??? I loved her Born in... books and was so happy to have another trilogy, but sadly disappointed in this. I will not arm wrestle for the next, I will wait and borrow it from someone and then decide if it is a re-read or not.
