Summary: A good example of a fad diet
Review: As a person who has a bachelor of science degree in Nutrition, I am offended by the idea that this book is a bestseller. The premise of this diet is totally unfounded, and complete nonsense. There is no scientific evidence that different blood types affect the foods you should eat, and in fact, to be a healthy individual, a person should include a variety of different foods, not restrict their food choices. This book is a good example of a fad diet, and in my opinion, readers should proceed with caution.

Summary: Excellent Nutrition Program
Review: This is the only integrated food selection guide that is based on a rational, scientific theory. I would have given it five stars but the text could have been edited and spritzed up a lttle better.

Summary: It gave me new insight about my struggle with my weight.
Review: I have been reading about dieting and health for a s long as I can remember. This is the first time that a book on dieting has ever matched all of my particular health conditions and personality. It is logical and make sense to me. It has given me new hope for a dietary change that works for me.

I have just come off of two years on the Atkins diet. I felt better on the high protein low carbohydrate diet, but didn't lose weight on it. I realize now that it was the elimination of wheat and refined sugar that made me feel good, not the meat and cheese that I was eating.

I have a caronary artery desease which is presently giving me trouble. The ER4YT diet more closely fits the diet that my cardiologist recommends.

I started your diet just one week ago with a renewed enthusiasm for better health. I will let you know later how it turns out for me. I am very optimistic this time.

Summary: Excellent help at the right time!!!
Review: Information about blood type-related food sensitivities and disease susceptibilities has been around for a while, but I had never found any definitive works. This well-organized book spikes the football, and has in two days helped to relieve a number of the food guilts and shames I've had unnecessarily.

As a type O, I've found a high grain, vegetarian diet absolutely unhealthy, and have always done best on lean red meats. I have always craved liver, and have ignored the cravings because of the ethical issues involving meat production. I went on the Zone diet two years ago, and with its good protein ration, I initially did beautifully.

However, last year, I started experiencing troubles with weight, skin, hormones, emotions, and just about everything else. And no one could help or understand. My diet was absolutely, obsessively perfect--but for someone else!

Eat Right For Your Type showed me that many of the foods I've taught myself to eat are not correct f! or me--and that many of the foods I pine for but don't eat can heal me!

I'm grateful to Peter D'Adamo for doing this research. I feel a tremendous sense of relief!

Summary: An understandable and achieveable way to feel better.
Review: I have never been on an eating program that gave me results from the very beginning. My energy level is great and I have been able to get off allergy medicine, quit drinking coffee with no withdrawal symptoms (I drank coffee for 40 years), blood pressure has gone down, and problems with menopause have disappeared. I feel so much better and I tell everyone about the book and the results I have experienced.

Summary: Everyone should read this book!!
Review: Thank you to Peter and Peter's father! With the help of this book and it's diet guidelines I heard something I never thought I'd hear from my doctor, "You couldn't be any healthier." If you or anyone you know needs to improve their health in any way this is a great way to begin that path.

Summary: I feel great
Review: I was tied and just wanted to set down when I got home from work. I was taken multi-vit. and they didn't do any good. After reading the book within 3days had lots of energy and I couldn't believe it. Just need to get a book on how to cook with out wheat or corn flour as I am a type 0+. I am 55 white female.

Summary: Dont eat until you read this book!
Review: This book answered my prayers! My family of 4 are all 0+. We battle allergies, ear infections, and ADD. With simple changes to our diet, the allergies are non existant, the continuing ear infection (lasted 4 months) stopped. The ADD has been manageable with just behavior modification. I am looking forward to the next school year! Thank you Dr. D"Adamo!

Summary: Phenomenal information - makes a lot of sense
Review: After reading this book, the light went on for me! It makes so much sense. I am Type O and my husband is Type A. Our personalities are VERY different and our food likes and dislikes are VERY different. While I like pasta and starchy stuff, my husband LOVES them. I'd rather have a grilled Rib-Eye Steak and he'd rather have Macaroni Salad. YUK! I LOVE vegetables but he loves Peanut Butter on Bread. I am trying to cut out the Wheat and Dairy slowly from our whole family's diet. Now that it is summer, we can get some delicious fresh veggies and have a variety of the meats on our list. Question: Does anyone out there know if animals have a variety of blood types also? I would venture to guess that Carnivores (like Wolves, Wolverines, etc.) have pretty much the same types of blood. Bears on the other hand might have different types, because some, like Polar Bears, are limited to what they can find to eat. While Brown bears might have different types than their Northern relatives, because they have such varied diets. Any Thoughts?
