Summary: The Most Amazing Book I've ever Read!
Review: I went to my doctor a month ago for a pysical, and to my horror had gained 15 pounds in the last year! That put my about 30 pounds overweight. I was concerned, and asked questions, but my doctors did'nt or could'nt help. So my friend told me to read this book. All I can say is it fairly blew me away! I am A+, and when it said that we feel sluggish and heavy after eating red meat...well this book was reading my mind and body! I immediatly started my diet, cold turkey. I was a little concerned about giving up dairy and meat and tomatoes, but to my surprise, once on the program, I did not miss these foods one little bit! I don't even get cravings! It's like a giant load off my back. For lack of a better way to describe it: it's like my body has finally connected with my brain, and is once again functioning properly. I've been on it for 2 weeks, and have lost 5 pounds! I feel energy I have'nt felt since I was 20. This is changeing my life. This author is definatly on to something very important. Really everyone should read this book, especially if your doctor says "Well, you're over 30 now....ofcourse you have no energy" I am reccomending it to everyone I know.

Summary: The information in this book is amazing!
Review: I first read this book at a freind's house. I have been grappling with my weight ever since i had my second child. Doctors have no answers. So i read, and immediatly applied the diet for A+'s, and within 2 days, I had the energy I had when I was 20! I thought some of my restricted foods would be hard to give up, but now I have no craving for them at all, it's almost like I don't want them. I can literally feel my body functioning properly again. I thought the book was very well written, except I do not remember reading that I may notice such an immediate change in how I feel. But I must say in retrospect this was a nice surprise. I can't explain it; All I can say is that this Author is DEFINATELY on to something very interesting and important. I am reccomending this book to all my freinds.

Summary: It flies in the face of conventional wisdom..and it WORKS!
Review: I am a Type O in my mid-thirties and have suffered from several health problems for years - acid reflux, moderate obesity (usually 30-50 pounds overweight), severe constipation inexplicably followed by diarrhea, hypothyroidism (underactive), hypoglycemia, edema, fungal skin infections and a couple of others too gross to mention on the Web....I too had tried many of the "fad" diets, and had almost given up. I was very skeptical when I first read the book, but decided to try the plan when I realized I had nothing to lose....my continuing physical transformation has been nothing short of miraculous. I have lost 45 pounds since August of 1998. My skin problems have cleared up without benefit of medication and my energy level has increased considerably. D'Adamo presents his information in layman's terms, and it makes sense to me. I am not a doctor or a scientist, so maybe you think I don't know what I am talking about. But I will tell you this, the food plan has worked for me, I can only speak for myself. A friend at work (Type AB) has also been on the food plan and has lost over 20 pounds. I have not felt this good in a long time, or ever for that matter. Most of the critics of this book seem to be doctors or those involved in the practice of conventional medicine - what's wrong fellas, afraid this book is going to put you on welfare?

Summary: This book feels so right
Review: I read Eat Right 4 Your Type about 5 weeks ago. I am blood type A. Everything fits so well. I have had ulcerative colitis for approx. 10 years and have always had trouble with constipation and other intestinal problems. Since following the diet, I cannot believe how regular and how much better my symptoms have been. Gone!! I am also wondering about others who have followed the diet. Do you think that A blood types (personality wise)are more concerned with their health overall? I know that my friends who are O and AB don't seem to be concerned at all. Possibly because the O's are meat eaters and society accepts this more??? I love the foods I eat and have been very creative on my menus. I have dropped approx. 8 lbs. in 5 weeks without trying. Approx. 1 to 2 lbs. per week. I feel this will be a very healthy, successful way of life. If you haven't tried the book yet, give it a try and I'm sure you will be happy with the results. I agree with the one person who wrote how differently their refrigerator looks now. Mine too! Happy in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

Summary: This book helped me lose 72 pounds!
Review: A friend of mine "forced" me to read this book. Thank goodness! I had started Weight Watchers and was feeling exhausted. I started making the changes and my energy level went up and I ended up losing 72 pounds in 11 months! I still follow the guidelines with occasional cheating. It really has made a difference in my life. Thanks, Dr. D!

Summary: I was doubtful but it really Worked!
Review: Well when your metabolism slows down and your weight creeps up on you. I turned to this and tried it for over five months and i went down to my ideal size and lost 15 lbs. I followed the diet strictly and found i had more energy and started naturally eating less. Eventhough you can eat what you like out of your sugessted foods. Now sometimes i cheat and eat off the list and everytime my stomach hurts like hell and I am amazed on how right the book is! Sometimes I still can't believe it,but looking good (Hey size 4 now) and feeling good is well worth the price of the book and this realativily easly diet!

Summary: I can't Believe I've Gotten So Thin?
Review: In October I started eating according to the dietary recommendations outlined in the book. Starting weight was 258 it is now April 13th and I weigh 192 and still going down about 1 lb. a week or so. I have NOT BEEN ON A DIET!!!! I am just eating the right foods and plenty of them!! Give it a try and even if you don't lose weight you will most certainly feel better!!!!

Summary: USE IMPROVED MEASUREMENTS FOR BETTER HEALTH
Review: This intriguing book allows you to customize your diet to reflect your blood type, so that you eat the foods that are best for you and avoid those that are most harmful. It was surprising to me how many foods can cause a person's body to create antigens, and cause one to feel lousy. Other work on food always treats everyone as though they are average. I strongly recommend that you read this book, and follow its advice. I did, and the results were most impressive. Thinking about how things need to be adapted for each person reminded me of a book I read recently, THE 2,000 PERCENT SOLUTION. The authors argue that measurement of important things is the basis of all improvement. EAT RIGHT FOR YOUR TYPE seems to bear out that point. Enjoy!
