Review: I decided to read this book because I had to read a book during
quiet time in school.I enjoyed the book very much I would recommend it to any school age child I got lost in it I also thought I was in Narnia when I first started reading it even my
mom and my sister were reading it the writer was very good in
explaining eveything in the book I will try to read the rest of his books the first one I read was The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe. Thank you

Review: The lion the Witch and the Wardrob was a great book.when I read this book I pictured this in my mind.As I pictured it in my mind in my mind I noticed that there was a couple mistakes in spelling.It was so cool to raed it.I was so moved by raeding it.

Summary: Why Did They Change the Sequence?
Review: The Chronicles of Narnia remain favorites for me, well into my 4th decade. But I have to ask: When did the publisher resequence them? I can see that they are now in chronological order, but I find the original sequence more logical and compelling as a story. The original was 1. Lion, 2. Caspian, 3. Dawn Treader, 4. Silver Chair, 5. Horse/Boy, 6. Magician's Nephew, and 7. Last Battle. This puts the creation of Narnia within the context of the storyline. I can remember the epiphany of The Magician's Nephew the first time I read it in grade school. I felt like I was uncovering hidden secrets. I don't think it would stand alone as well. So, if you're planning to introduce these to your kids (and I hope you do!) consider the original sequence - I think you and your children will enjoy it more.

Review: The book Lion,Witch,Wardrobe was a good book,it really drew me in
because it made me fill like I was there my self. The grammer, and
usage of the words and picture's. The main caracter of the book is
Edmund, he was the trouble maker of all four of the chirldren.Edmund was in Narnia looking for Lucy his sister and he gets caught by the white witch she sound's like she is nice but she gives him magical turkey pot pie and puts him under a spell.

Review: Death, that state of consciousness which seems to be most feared by men, often plays an important role in fantasy writing, albeit under various guises, as is evidenced by C. S. Lewis. In this book, Lewis presents the possibility and probability that Death may be Life, that Death may be Reality, that Death may be ALL.
In this tale, Lewis takes the very stuff of which Death is made and, by going beyond its form, on into its depths, sets it aright with all that is so that It, likewise, can be all that It is to all. In so doing, he allows each character to experience the wonders of Death and rebirth on his own level, according to his personal concepts, to his personal feelings, to his personal needs.
As viewed through Lewis's pen, Death is an "adventure" to which Lucy is attracted because of its depth, of its mystery, of its light, qualities which whet her curiosity.
Death is "social justice," the law of the land, which requires punishment for transgressions perpetrated against authority, that law which is based upon "an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth." This leads to an understanding of the Law of Karma, which states that each person is responsible for the results of his actions and must suffer the consequences.
Death is "food for pride" in the heart of the White Witch, whose very life is dependent upon the obedience of her subjects who must not question her commands.
Death is "self-sacrifice" in the redemption of Edmund by Aslan, who understands well the cosmic law of Cause and Effect and who, more than all, knows of Death's illusion.
Death is "liberation" for the citizens of Narnia, liberation from their instinctive fears which bind them to serve the White Witch, who provides for their needs while keeping them dependent upon her and thus ignorant of her true identity.
Death is "cooperation" against the forces of evil, once having realized the strength of group consciousness.
Death is "the present moment" in blessed forgetfulness of the past.
Death is "rebirth," constant transformation.
In writing this tale, Lewis has given us another look at the meaning of stability versus change, of good versus evil, and of their relativity, all the while spawning the following equation in the mind of many: Reality = Death & Rebirth.

Review: The reason I like "The Lion Witch and The Wardrobe"is because I like snow and the book was about kids in a make believe world in winter time. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes tales about fake worlds and talking foxes. I have read four C.S.Lewis Narnia Collection Books and they are all great. What I like most is all the magical things that are written in the book and the words the author used really got me into the book. I also liked all the excitement in the book. I really like this story.
