Summary: a reveiw
Review: This book is a fast paced novel that takes the first book to a whole new level. Colfer describes Artemist's adventure with such elegance and fire.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Not terrible
Review: While I'll admit, I have enjoyed the series so far, there are just four things I would like to say. First of all, sometimes it seems as though the books were written purely so that Colfer could express his enviormentalist views, which I find are presented in an offensive way that almost makes me want to drop the book in certain places.
Second, while the faerie people (excuse me if I have the wrong termonology) are more techologically advanced then humans, they also seem to be enviormentally friendly, which I don't think could plausibly happen. I think Colfer needs to explain this more. Also, the faerie characters seem to yak alot about us horrible mudmen without offering any true solutions :)

Third, what happened to Artemis? Despite being the coolest charater ever, he has little 'screen' time, which I found disappointing.

Fourth, I'd still recommend the book. Not to say you should rush out and buy out the bookstore, but it's a good read, and my complaints could very well be handled in the following volumes.

Summary: Not a [bad]sequel after all
Review: When I first saw this book I was skeptical. The first Artemis Fowl book was witty and clever, and even though the ending leaves things open for a sequel it didn't necessarily need one. But I checked it out anyway, and I wasn't disappointed. This book is almost as good as the first. I never really cared for Holly, and this book didn't make me like her any more. But just when I thought Artemis was getting soft on me, he bounced back which redeemed the book in my eyes. It's worth a try.

Summary: An Excellent Read
Review: The mastermind is back, and he is even better! In this riveting tale, Artemis is at a boarding school when he recieves an e-mail with his father on it. To resque him, he must join forces with Captain Holly Short in order to save his father. This is an extrordinary book for readers young and old. If you are a fan of Harry Potter, you will surely love this book. It combines action, mystery, humor, and even puts a technological twist into it.

Summary: Artemis Fowl The Artic Incident
Review: My reaction on Artemis Fowl
I give my book 5 stars. My book is about a boy named Artemis, he is 13 years old, and he is a total nutcase. Artemis has been trying to find his father ever since he was 9 years old. His father disappeared on a plane. So his mother says.
Artemis noticed that when he was looking through pitchers that his dad looks kind of like his teacher.
The characters in this story are K'ell Goblin he is a very mean person who doesn't like tourists, Mud people they are people that do magic to help people with problems, Surveillance people they keep an eye on Leprechaun Town, Holy Artemis's psychiatrist, Fairies that tell people their future, Trolls big mean giant people who like terrorizing young children, Leprechauns the little people who rule Leprechaun town, Swear Trolls, Opal is a vampire who has been trying to get Artemis all his life, Technical Wizard who uses machines instead of a cane, the Butler he takes care of Artemis when his mother is at work.(Like his body guard from Opal the Vampire)
The big problems are, Artemis had a therapist that couldn't handle Artemis because, and he was such a nutcase. The leprechauns that owned the best psychiatric ward in the whole fairyland.
Artemis is got put with this lady named Holly; she is even worse then Artemis.
Artemis is still trying to find his father, his teacher looks just like a picture of his father.
Artemis was looking through old newspapers and he found out there was abduction, the same exact day that his father turned up missing. So Artemis is thinking that his father was abducted not dead.
The magical things of my story is, their was these things called leprechauns they are little green men who own this place called leprechaun town. They keep track of all the bad kids that come in and out of there. Then there are these fairies that help the little boys who get into trouble a lot. They pretty muchly stick by them like a devil and an angel that is telling you to do good things like the angel and why and the devil telling you to do bad things and why, the get them out of messes.
There is this broom for all the witches; it is something new called the Netrino 2,000. It is like the fastest flying broomstick ever, ever in all the witch ages.
There are mud-people that can make mud into gold right before your eyes.
In Ghost Town there is this lab that they take Swear Trolls to because Swear Trolls are the most powerful thing in all Ghost Town. They put them in a cave and run tests. The lab is called Kobi-labs.
Mad Cow is a disease that is kills off cows, so that the meat is bad. Mad cow was all over Ghost Town and the Swear Trolls put a spell on their town so that the disease wouldn't hit them, and it worked because it didn't even touch them.
In this book there is this really weird dwarf called a Sun Blinded Dwarf. If this certain dwarf gets even four feet to the sun they go blind.
Goblin photos are pictures that move after it already has been take, kind of like magic.
There was a couple of things that didn't really seem that realistic like, when the Mud people could turn mud into gold by just looking at it. Or when the Mad Cow skipped one herd of cows but got all the other cows around that pasture.
My story was really good and I think other people should read this too. If you are going to read this book make sure you don't have to do anything for a while because, this isn't one of those books that you read for a couple minutes then go and put it down.

Summary: It was a great book
Review: Artemis Fowl and the Arctic Incident by Eoin Colfer is a wonderful and spell binding book. Its curious mix of fantasy and science fiction is seen through charaters like fairies, centaurs, leprechauns, and drawfs along with futuristic machines and high tech gadgetry. I would recommend this book to everyone. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Summary: Criminal Mastermind strikes again!
Review: If you thought the first book was good, this one is even better! Artemis teams up with the LEP to help the them clear up a problem with the humans in exchange for their help in a daring plot to save Artemis's father.

It is, if possible, even more clever and funnier than the first, while it also shows a caring and decent side of Artemis that was hidden before, making him more human. Artemis Fowl: The Arctic Incident combines new characters, like the Russian Mafiya, with returning ones like Holly Short, Root, Mulch Diggums, and of course Butler, in ways they never showed before.

The story is about Artemis saving his father, while helping the faries in an underground catastrophy involving the goblins and returning character Cudegon.
A book you defianlty don't want to miss!
