Rating: Summary: A very not bad book Review: I didn't really like the book it was kind of boring. It made you wanna fall asleep reading it.I give the book 3 stars.
Rating: Summary: One of the Best Books on Earth Review: E. B. White's super book, The Trumpet of the Swan, is a story about Louis, a smart trumpeter swan. Louis was born without a voice. Find out if Louis successfully overcame his disability in his exciting life when you read The Trumpet of the Swan. I highly recommend this nicely written, funny, and superb book because it is interesting and entertaining. I learned that you can usually overcome a disability if you try hard. You should enjoy reading this great book.
Rating: Summary: A Great Book Review: When I heard the book The Trumpet of the Swan, I thought it would be boring, but I was wrong! The Trumpet of the Swan is an adventurous book. In the book, a swan called Louis roams a lot. This fantastic book should be read sometime in your life. It teachers you what a swan does except there are some parts that a real trumpeter swan can't do. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who likes to read. I think you should read this book before the Trumpeter Swans are extinct!
Rating: Summary: E. B. White's Worst Review: I think you should not pick this book up at the library becauseit is not such a great book. It's not such a good book because thereare no exciting bits or bits that you want to read more and more of. But, there are some good bits, like when Louis, the trumpeter swan, learns to fly. It's still not a very good book and a bit boring. It's generally about a trumpeter swan who must learn how to communicate and get money. E. B. White is a great author, but this book isn't that great. END
Rating: Summary: The Trumpet of the Swan Review: The Trumpet of the Swan is a very interesting book. You should read it because it is exciting. When Louis' father finds out that Louis can't talk, he flies to Billings and steals a valuable shiny trumpet for Louis. Another reason for getting Louis the trumpet is that Louis loves another lovely swan named Serena. If Louis gets the bronze trumpet he can have Serena for a mate. Serena moves, and Louis needs a job to pay for the trumpet. Louis patiently learned to play the trumpet. Will Louis get a job to pay for the trumpet? Will he get Serena for his mate? I would highly recommend this book if you're curious about the answers to these questions.
Rating: Summary: The Best Book Review: The book the Trumpet of the Swan is the best yet, I would say! This book is surely something I would recommend to any kid in the world for its combination of sadness and hard times with joyful and happy times. A hard and sad time is when a trumpeter swan named Louis finds out he has no voice. A joyful and happy time is when Serena, another trumpeter swan, falls deeply in love with Louis, and they get married. How E. B. White created a smooth transition from sad times to happy times made this book a definite masterpiece in my mind. A lesson I learned in this book was that if you keep at it, you can overcome practically anything. I think everyone should read this book because it is so good, don't you?
Rating: Summary: Trumpet of the Swan Review: If you like swans and adventure, I would highly recommend this book. It is about a boy about 11 years old and Louis, a trumpeter swan who, sadly, has no voice. He needs help because he is in love with Serena, a beautiful female swan, and needs to communicate with her. So Louis flies to Sam's house to go to school and learn to read and write. Louis can't communicate with his own family (they can't read). So his dutiful father steals a real brass trumpet for him. Louis feels very compelled to repair and repay the store from which his father took the trumpet. In the process, Louis takes you out on an exciting adventure to the public gardens and Swan Boats of Boston, the Philadelphia Zoo and more. This is a fun story you'll really enjoy!
Rating: Summary: The best family entertainment Review: Trumpet of the Swan is a five starred book, an exciting book you'll really enjoy. In the book, Sam, a boy, goes to Montana when five cygnets hatched. One of them, Louis, is dumb (can't speak) and his father curiously steals a valuable brass trumpet. Louis travels the world to pay for the stolen brass trumpet. Find out what dangerous and exciting adventures Louis faces...I highly recommend this book to families and friends all over the world!
Rating: Summary: I liked the story! Review: The Trumpet of the Swan is an interesting and amusing book! I like the pleasant character Louis because he never gives up to earn Serena's love. Sam is a boy that actually helped Louis read and wrtie becuase Louis had no voice. That shows friendship. Finally, Louis and Serena, the two swans, fall in love and have cygnets. I truly learned that if I start something, I shouldn't give up. If Louis can do it, I can do it too!
Rating: Summary: Trumpet of the Swan Review: I highly recommend this awesome book to others because it's exciting to read. You really wonder if Louis will ever talk or what job he'll have next. You also wonder if Louis will ever mate with Serena. It's a great book just because it's one of those books you can't put down. I would definitely give two big thumbs up. It's an excellent book!
