Review: This was the first book by this author that I have read. I didn't think it was great. The events kept repeating and some parts didn't make sense.I DID like the way Jerry Spinelli was descriptive and wrote with beautiful language.

Review: Maniac Magee by Jerry Spinelli and it was a really good book. Maniac Magee otherwise known as Jeffery Magee,his life changes when his parents died on the P and W high speed trolley.Maniac Magee moved to his Aunt Dot and Uncle Dan,there was a big problem so he left. That's when he started running. Maniac lived in Bridgeport,Holidaysburg,after that he just visited place's like East end,West end ,Mrs pickwells,East Chestnut,East Marshall,Green Street,and Arch Street.Maniac had a lot af friendswhen he started to be nocited,Maniac is a special and to find out what happens at those places read Maniac Magee.

Review: I can explain Manaic Magee in a couple of words a great book for all ages. Maniac is a name that caught on to him his real name is Jeffery. He doesn't have any parents and he goes into the east and west end with no problem. Most people wouldn't dare.Maniac is a brave little kid who can run faster then anyone including Mars Bars. If you read this book be ready for action,adventure,excitment,and heartbreak. You may cry in this book if you are older.

I loved the book Maniac Magee. One part I liked most was when Maniac ran a race against Marsbar, and won even though he ran backwards.The other part I really liked was the end Amanda Beale picked Maniac up from the zoo, Maniac got his old home back.

Review: I loved the book Maniac Magee, because of all the description, unusual word choice, voice, that allowed you to think that a kid was telling the story (instead of the author), ant the unique plot. Anybody who enjoys books about superheroes or amazing people would like this great book.

Review: Maniac Magee was a great book! It was the only book I've ever read that had so much voice and was so dramatic. The author did a great job and was very creative. I could really picture the settings. I loved the book and I'm sure I'm not the only one that feels that way.

Review: Maniac magee was the best book I have ever read. At first while we were in school and we were getting the books and everyone was groaning but, I thought it was interesting. I loved how jerry Spinelli used creative detailed words in all his setences. He put emotions and character into the book. When he describes things he really describes things. I love deatiled books and this book was perfect. I would HIGHLY suggest this books for people of all ages. On a rating from 1 to 5 stars I'd rate this a 15. I am hoping that Jerry Spinelli either A. comes out with a sequel to Maniac Magee or B. Jerry continues to make books like Maniac Magee. I loved this books and I think that everyone else who reads it will love it too. That's my opinion and I hope you all agree with it.
