Summary: Maniac Magee
Review: I think Maniac Magee was a good book,because Maniac experienced many different family structures. It was all full of suspence. I enjoyed when Maniac lived with Grayson after he left the Beales,because he taught Grayson to read. Maniac was always making friends and helping people,he showed how Blacks and Whites are equal. When he was living with the McNabs he resembled a father to Russell and Piper. The most important thing was when Maniac found a home again with the Beales a family he loved.

Review: Maniac Magee is an exellent book. I loved this book because it was very detailed. An example is how they described 101 Band Shell Boulevard, with the mat, space heater, oven, etc. Something else i like about the book is that Maniac is all over the place. He's in the East end, West end, Elmwood park zoo, and Bridgeport at various moments. I also liked how Maniac is very concentrated. An example is when he untied Cobble's Knot. In conclusion, I think Maniac Magee is an exellent book and I recomend that you read it.

Summary: Maniac Magee a very sad book with ONE star
Review: I disliked Maniac Magee because too many people died. You never know who will die next. Like Maniac's parents, the died in a trolley car accident and horribly drowned. It was very gruesome when they died. Also when Grayson died, you thought he would be his dad, but ended up in a morgue. After that you thought he would go back to the Beales but he ended up going to the McNabs. However I did like one thing in the book. I liked how he always ran. You never knew where he would end up next. This is why I disliked Maniac Magee more than I liked it.

Review: This was an excellent book for all ages.But , otherwise Maniac Magee is known as Jeffery Magee,his life changes when his parents died on the P and W high speed trolley.So then he went to live with his Aunt and Uncle .His aunt and Uncle was always fighting so Maniac left then house where he was living and ran away.Maniac lived in so many places like Maniac lived in Bridgeport,Holidaysburg,after that he just visited place's like East end and West end ,Mrs pickwells,East Chestnut,East Marshall,Green Street,and Arch Street.Maniac had a lot of friends he meet.Even though some of the part didn't make scence I still liked the book. If you want to find what happens check out this book at your Public Libary

Summary: Maniac Maniac Where Are You
Review: The novel Maniac Magee is an excellent book. The first reason why I like this book is because of how Maniac did all kinds of crazy things to get Russell and Piper to go to school. The reason I like this part is because the crazy things he does no one else would ever try or do like going into Finsterwalds backyard and ring his doorbell. My second reason why I like this book is because Maniac taught John Mcnab the "stopball". The reason why I like this part is because Maniac shows him so his brothers would not make fun of him and Maniac pretended to strike out. My third reason why I like this book is because when Maniac taught Grayson to read. The reason why I like this is because he wanted to learn to read. The book was enjoyable to read I liked it a lot it was very suspensful and also entertaining to read I reccomend this book to everyone.

Review: Maniac Magee is one of the best books I've ever read. When he had no place to go he lived at the zoo. He was very independent. He would live on his own. I also like how John McNab had no memory of why he chased Maniac. He thought he kept throwing the stopball. But I didn't like how the ending was so short. Other than that it was a great book. That is why I liked Maniac Magee.

Summary: I Wasnt Such A Manic Over Maniac Magee
Review: Maniac Magee wasnt Such an excallent book.I was disappionted when I read this book. Some chapters like # 4 were only 1 page long and i think they should be longer. I also found when reading the author jumped from subject to subject. Like one time he wrote that Maniac was running down Hector Street then on the next page hes in a Buffalo pen. I also disliked how he didnt mention anything about his parents.He could have at least wrote a chapter about them(not that it would be anything since the chapters are only 1-2 pages long).The ending really stunk because i thought that the East End and the West End would unite into one town.But he just made it end in 2 sentences.This book wasnt geat at all.

Summary: Maniac Was Wacked
Review: I wasen`t too crazy about this book. Most things I didn`t Understand. This book was not the best book I ever read. There were some things I liked and some things were a waste of breath. One of things I liked is the story was the way you didn`t know what was going to happen so it kept you reading more,and the reason I didn`t like it was because we just kept on reading about nothing, because most of the time it just Jraged. But who knows maybe you will injoy this book.

Summary: The Lost Hearted Boy.
Review: The novel Manaic Magee,wasn't a very good book.I didn't like it beacuse of alot of things.First of all i didn't like that the "blacks" and the "whites" were against eachother.Another thing was that Manaic didn't save Russell,even if he did have bad memory's he should have saved him.I also disliked that Manaic didn't exceppt the invitatoin to Mars Bars house.That was very rude of him. An example of the "blacks" and "whites" were against eachother was at the Mcnab party.I rember that John Mcnab said when Mars Bar walked into the house Jhon Mcnab said "Tell me when IT leaves." When Manaic didn't save Russell he just looked at the trestle and walked away,like nothing was there,just the trestle.It wasn't very nice to do that.He let Russell and Piper down by doing that.Then not to exceppt the invitatoin to Mars Bars house was the last straw.He just says "i can't." and runs away.

The book wasn't good at all in my opnoin,because well it wasn't very suspensful to me and it wasn't funny either.It was just sad.That's bascilly why i didn't like the book.
