Summary: Maniac Who?
Review: Maniac Magee was not a very interesting book. It was too confusing. The way Maniac was always on the run. It was also confusing how Maniac kept on crossing over the East End and the West End. I would need to know what character he was talking to, to know what end he was on. Also, Maniac Magee was not interesting. It did not bring a smile to my face. I was so bored of reading this book. Maniac Magee was not a good book.

Review: The book Maniac Magee was not really good. I thought that the book was choppy. When Maniac ran around everywhere. It really didn't nention what happen in between when he was running. One mintute he was talking to Amanda and the next he was at the high school fieds, and caught a football. Then when he left the Beales it was weird because I thought he liked the Beales. that was also a good thing because then he meets Grayson, but Grayson dies. I thought that was sad because it was five days after Christmas. The only part that I liked was at the end, because MarsBar meets the Pickwells and the McNabs. So my overall opion on this book was that it wasn't really good.

Review: Maniac Magee was a very bad book.I did not like it because it confused me.He was alawys running from place to place. I never knew where he was until he left.This story was not realistic For example whene Maniac ate dinner with the Pickwells,nobody said anything thoughout the whole dinner.The dinner was boring because nothing happend. This story was very pridictable. For example Maniac won the race with Marsbar.I think Maniac should of lost to Marsbar,then the story would of been more unpredictable.This was the worst book I have ever read.

Review: Maniac Magee was exciting because you didn't know what wasgoing to happen next. That means people are going to want to readmore....[for example] He had to choose who to stay with. I wasn't sure who he was going to pick. I agreed with Maniac's choice.... Another reason is after Maniac hit that homerun and broke McNab's record. You didn't know what was going to happen if Maniac was going to get beat up. In conclusion Maniac Magee was an exciting book. I liked this book because he ran to place to place. It was pretty confusing when he kept losing every family,but overall it was a good book.

Summary: My Opinion Of The Book - Maniac Magee
Review: I thought Maniac Magee was an okay book. I did not think it was the best. I thought the book had suspense but it wasn't that exciting. One thing I disliked is that Maniac isn't like a normal kid. He does a lot of things that you don't see every day. For example, many people think of him as a hero. He does some things like untying the knot at Cobble's Corner. Any other kid probally couldn't do that. Otherwise, I liked the book. I liked that Maniac traveled from one place to another. I learned some positive and negative things about each family. I learned that both the Beale's and Pickwell's are both kind,caring and loving. One more thing that I liked is how Maniac didn't stay with the Beale's at first. If he did, he wouldn't have gone to all the other places he went to. The book would have been pretty boring if had stayed with the Beale's. All in all, the book kept my interest. I would recommend this book to kids who enjoy fiction stories.

Review: Maniac Magee was an okay book. Some parts I liked and some parts I didn't like. I liked how Jerry Spinelli was so creative. He made Maniac so athletic and he went from place to place. I also liked how the book ended. Maniac was now friends with everyone. There were also parts I didn't like. I didn't like how Maniac kept losing people he cared about. In conclusion Maniac Magee was an okay book.

Review: Manaic Magee was a great book. I liked the book because Maniac came back to face his problems. For example, he talks to John McNab and ends up at the McNab house. Manaiac faces Mars Bar and beats him in a race running backwards. Another reason I think Maniac Magee was a good book was because Maniac did not think much about skin color. he lived with the Beales and did not say anything about the color of their skin. I enjoyed Maniac Magee because Maniac was brave. He went to Finsterwald's backyard and even kncked on the door. He put his hand in a hole that no one would dare stick their hand in. I think Maniac Magee was one of the best books I ever read.

Summary: What I Thought of Maniac Magee
Review: Maniac Magee was a pretty good book. There were things that I liked and disliked. For example, a part that I liked was when Maniac embarresed Mars Bar by winning the race by running backwards. I liked the ending of the story because Mars Bar becomes nicer, he saves Russell from falling, and he becomes friends with Maniac. A part of Maniac Magee that I disliked was when Grayson died because now Maniac had no one to live with, so he ran away and had to find a new home. Another part I disliked was when the whites got ready for if the blacks ever attacked. I didn't like that part because the whites didn't know for a fact that the blacks were going to attack, but they built a pillbox anyway. In conclusion Maniac Magee was a pretty good book, and if other people read it then maybe they'd like it or maybe not.

Review: Maniac Magee was a great book. I enjoyed this book because it was attractive the way the author wrote it by his or her personalities or thoughts. He described the characters in a good and attractive way. For example, the way he described Amanda. She liked to read a lot of books.She also cared about them. She would probably go nuts if one page was torn. There were also events I didn't like. For example, when Grayson died. He was a good person. He taught Maniac the stopball and Maniac taught him how to read.Also I didn't like it when Maniac left the Beales' house. They cared for Maniac. There wouldn't be anymore "Miracle on Sycamore Street for Mrs. Beale. There also won't be anyone to take a bath with Hester and Lester while Amanda was busy. I really liked this a lot because it was kind of funny. I liked how it ended beacause Maniac now has a home and family. He isn't an orphan anymore and doesn't feel alone. That is what I think about this book.

Review: I think Maniac Magee is a good book because it is suspenseful.You never know what Maniac will do next.Maniac is usually going from one place to another.Many parts were funny.Maniac humiliated Mars Bar in front of a lot of people by winning the race backwards.I thought the main character was a nice boy.Maniac stayed with the McNabs but he wasn't too happy.I think this was a good action filled book.
