Summary: The best book ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: Billy, a hardworking boy who lives by the Ozark Mountains in the Cherokee country, has two redbone hunting hounds, Old Dan and Little Ann. He trained them to be the best raccoon hunters in the country. Old Dan has the brawn, and Little Ann has the brain, and together, with Billy, they won the championship coon hunt. Glory and victory comes to them, but sadness awaits too. Read how Old Dan and Little Ann defends Billy from the deadly jaws of a mountain lion. And read how the sacred red fern connected to the deaths of Old Dan and Little Ann in the most breathtaking way. Where the Red Fern Grows is a heartwarming tale of adventure and friendship you'll never forget.

Summary: This is the best book I ever read!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: I love this book. I thought it was a great book. I loved how Billy was so determined to get his dogs and how he finally got them. I admired Billy for his determination, Old Dan for risking his life for Billy and Little Ann for also risking her life for Billy. At the end of this book it is so sad. I was so angry that Old Dan and Little Ann had to die at the end of this book, but I was cheered up when the Red Fern grew between Old Dan and Little Ann's bodies. I was happy also that Billy was able to move into town. I give this book 1,000,000 stars!!!!!!!! I recomend this book to anyone who loves to read great books.

Summary: A Terrific, Heart-Warming Book... I loved It!!
Review: My mother gave me this book to read when I was 9 yrs. old & up till then, I had never read anything so great... I must've re- read it at least 10 more times through my boyhood years. I am 31 yrs. old now, and still, my emotions get tugged when I remember 'Where The Red Fern Grows" I'm buying it again tonight - because the book is a timeless heart-warming tale. Parents: "You need to buy this book for your children to read"!!!

Summary: Those who didn't like it are city kids and foreigners!
Review: As I scanned through this page, I saw a few low reviews. I was shocked because I thought that this was such a great book. I soon noticed that all these low reviews came from people in the city and people from other countries. Obviously, they don't know what this book is about and have probably never been coon hunting and never will! This is probably why they gave it such low reviews. I was glad to see a few city people grasp the point of this book (the relationship between a boy and his dogs), though. This book is a ten all the way! END
