Summary: A Book for Dog Lovers
Review: I liked this book because the way the author described the way the boy felt about his dogs was amazing. The way the book described how the dogs protected the boy from everything even if it meant losing their own life was very meaningful. And the way the author showed what one dog felt for another was also vwonderful. I definetly recommend this book.

Summary: A book for dog lovers
Review: I love this book because.... It is a fabulous book for dog lovers. It is very sad at times. I even started to cry at the end but it is just a wonderful book. When my 5th grade teacher read it to my class everyone enjoyed it. It teaches you to never give up when you are trying to teach a dog something. It is very descriptive about everything. Where the Red Fern Grows is one of the best books I've read.

Summary: Fantastic Book
Review: It's been a while since I've read this book, but I can remember it enough to know that it ranks among the best books I've ever read. Throughout the story, the author brings you so close the characters it's as if you were really there with them. It made me cry, and any book that can stir enough emotion to do that automatically gets five stars.

Summary: A Story About A Boy and Two Hounds.
Review: In fifth grade we have something called read aloud, where the teacher reads a book to us. So, this book was one of them. I loved it and everybody in my class loved it and I'm sure you would too. I reccomend this book to anyone who likes adventure books.

So people, READ THIS BOOK.

Summary: This book is one of the most greatest books I ever read.
Review: I was told to read the first chapter of this book for homework. And I did NOT want to read it at all or even touch it. But, some point during that evening, I decided to finally read. When I was finished with the first chapter, I could not let the book go at all. I was sucked in completely, and the next day at school, I couldn't wait for my teacher to assign us to read the second chapter for hw. As I read the chapters, I got excited and was always determined to finish the book. Where the Red Fern Grows is a very good book. I recommend many of you to read it.

Summary: Still My All Time Favorite.
Review: I first read this heart warming book when I was in the fourth grade. While visiting our local library with my husband I was compelled to look for it. I found it and the cover alone brought memories flooding back, I had to have it. After reading chapter after chapter, I kept saying to my husband "This is such a great book..." I knew the story well, yet every event still captured something I cannot describe in words. Even though I knew it was coming, the death of the two wonderful dogs broke my heart and jerked tears from my eyes. It is still the only book that warms my heart the way a dog can in a young child's arms. I 100% guarantee you'll love this book.

Summary: Read it and I hate to read
Review: If your 10 or 110, this book is a must read.
I read this book when I was 16 years old and I still think about it today. At that age I HATED to read, all the way to the point where I flunked English class cuz I would not read the required material. I could not put this book down, and when I was done I picked it back up a year later and read it again. Almost 10 years later I asked my wife to read it and she said she didn't want to read a book about a boy and some dogs. After I finally got her nose in the book she finished it in 1 day, and she loved it.

Summary: WARNING: This book will make you cry
Review: I LOVE dogs. I love them to death. I love this book because it was mainly about dogs. And the bond a boy shared with them. It's a very touching and memorable story. But, without a doubt, it will make you cry. Everytime I read it, I cry, and I can't stop crying. Be very, very careful.

Summary: Where the Red Fern Grows
Review: My favorite characters are little Ann and Old Dan. I like little Ann because she is so small and smart. Yet she is so weak. I like Old Dan because he is big and strong, but he isn't smart at all. I think Little Ann and Old Dan are perfect for Billy and his coon hunting because Little Ann is the brain and Old Dan is the muscle. The reason I like both of them is because their always working together to catch coons.
My second favorite character is Billy. I think he is very dedicated when he sets his goals. He set a goal to get enough money to buy his hound dogs and he accomplished it. Another goal he set was to win the gold cup in the hunting tournament and he did win it. That is why my second favorite character is Billy.
My favorite part in the book is in chapter 5 when Billy went to Tahlequah, Kentucky to get his hound dogs. He was so surprised and exicited to see them. When he did see them, he sort of froze and couldn't move. I don't think I would have froze if that were me, I think I would have just been very happy.
I think this book was sort of good to read. It has a lot of parts that get you hooked on the book and that is what i like about it.

Summary: Where The Red Fern Grows
Review: I am going to be telling you about my favorite part. My favorite part is when little Ann got lost. My favorite character is little Ann. Little Ann is so small, smart, and vicious. I wish my dog was like Little Ann. I like Little Ann because we seem alike. We seem alike because we are both visious. I am not small, but we still seem alike. The way that they discribe her in the book she sounds pretty. Little Ann is a smart dog. Billy's other dog is Old Dan. Old Dan is bigger than Little Ann, but he is not smarter than her. I really like Litte Ann. Little Ann is also more playfull than Old Dan. Old Dan is serious. Old Dan and Little ann are both red. I liked this book.
