Summary: Just as funny as its predecessors
Review: Mia Thermopolis is now in Genovia for the holidays, learning about the government she will someday reign. While she is there, her mind has never left Michael Moscovitz, her boyfriend. She worries that because he is exceptionally smart, he will find a much prettier and educated girl. She even follows advice given by Grandmère! Will she truly lose him, the man she has loved for years, or will her worrying be for nothing?

I really enjoyed this addition to the Princess Diaries series. I found it just as funny as its predecessors, and extremely easy to relate to. The ending was really great, and it made the story one of my favorites. This is a must have for teens or Meg Cabot fans!

Summary: the best
Review: This book was one of the best ones yet! I was dieing to see what happened after "Princess in Love" and bought this book right away! It definetely was not a let down and is a great sequel to the previous books. I would recommend it to any Meg Cabot lover! I also LOVED "All American Girl" in case you wanted to know!

Summary: pleasurable read
Review: Meg Cabot continues the series quite nicely. Although the main charecter Mia doesn't have a huge problem like in some of the other books, it still captivates the reader as Mia tries to find confirmation about her boyfriends love, find her secret talent, and yet again deal with her Grandmother. It was well written and lives up to it's potential.

Summary: Come on Meg!
Review: Meggin Cabot has shown uncanny brilliance in her writing, surpassing many others on the connecting with your reader section. She makes you want to jump into the book and cheer Tina up or something. I actually had a little crush on Michael for a while, (Hey! Sounds like a cutie!)She instills a soul into her characters.

But is it me, or has Princess in Waiting lost a bit of flame? Her characters are a little comatose, many characters have two-second cameos, detracting from the *fit* of this novel. Where was her mom? I was expecting a baby!

Grandmere was definetely great, though. I can see a bright light in her, and I can absolutely compare her to my Mima, who adapts a little innocent grin when she is guilty. Her wickedness makes her a NECESSITY in the book.

I suppose the book was a good sequel, cat-on-the-roofing us to a better, juicier follow-up. I hope. It had some flair, i give her, especially that make out scene, which I was waiting for! But for now, I give her an inspirational schpiel... gettem next time!

Summary: Series Losing Steam, But Still a Great Book
Review: The newest book in the Princess Diaries series, Princess in Waiting, is a good book to put on Meg Cabot's resume, but was not as exciting as its most recent predecessor, Princess in Love. Princess in Love was full of surprises as you turned every page, with the ending that will make Cabot even more famous, but Princess in Waiting was too predictable. I found that the only time I was nearing the edge of my seat was at the Black and White Ball, with Rene...But I won't give anything else away. Also, this book was not very exciting, though I thought when Mia was at the Moscovitz's apartment, it was SO sweet. Overall, this is a very good book that I think most readers will like, but it seemed Meg Cabot was running out of ideas for her newest book. Maybe she should have left readers hanging with the end of Princess in Love.

Summary: Princess Mia's challenges continue
Review: Princess Mia is upset when she's forced to spend her Christmas break in Genovia, away from her friends, mother, stepfather, and most importantly, her boyfriend Michael. Every moment she spends away from Michael, whether it's during a royal lunch with the secretary of finance or a museum visit, is agonizing for her. She ends up getting in quite a bit of trouble too when she makes a speech about the importance of parking meters. Although the trouble she gets herself in is nothing compared to the mess her distant cousin Rene gets in. As she writes in her diary she begins to have doubts. What if Michael doesn't really like her? What if he only loves her as a friend? What if he's spending his vacation with a Kate Bosworth look a like that can weave him necklaces for his birthday? (Makes little sense? Trust me you'll get it when you read the book).

Things don't get much better when she returns home. Her insecurities are blazing out of control, especially now when she realizes something important. Unlike all of her friends and acquaintances she has no noticeable talent. She knows nothing about computers. She's not musically talented. She can't memorize teen romance novels word-for-word. She can't seem to do anything right. She can barely pass algebra! What if Michael will break up with her because of that? To top it up, grandmere is screaming something that will make Mia's life absolutely miserable.

Although it starts out a bit slow, Princess in Waiting is just as good as the first three books in the series: The Princess Diaries, Princess in the Spotlight and Princess in Love. Mia is such an amazing character. She's so easy to relate to. Who hasn't felt insecure about themselves from time to time? I loved to watch her relationship with her boyfriend Michael and her best friend Lilly (who somehow manages to [anger me] and then redeem herself by the end of each book) develop even further. The character of Rene is also very interesting. I couldn't stand him in the beginning but now I'm not too sure. I have a feeling that in the books to come, we'll learn even more about him. If you're a fan of the Princess Diary series, read this! Trust me, if you can get through the first section it will be well worth your time! It's such a fun book! I can't wait to see what happens to Mia next!

Summary: The best book yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: I love lovE loVE lOVE LOVE this book! This is the best one of them yet. I bought the first three books, and when I saw this one, I bought it right away and started reading. If you have been waiting to see what happens with Mia's trip to Genovia and what is going on with her NEW boyfriend (who by the way, she has had a crush on FOREVER), you definately want to read this. I hope that there are more books following this one, and if there are, I can't wait!

Summary: The Princess Diaries Series
Review: These books are absolutely amazing. Each one leaves you hoping for a sequal. Mia Thermapolis is a true thrill to read about. HEr experience in romance, surprise, and going through puberty have you thinking she is a normal girl, but then you remember, she is also a Princess. Young girls can definetly relate to what she is going through and at the same time they wish they were in her shoes, you know the, the 6 inch staledos that go along with being a princess.

Summary: Oh YEah!
Review: The 4th book in the lovely Princess Diaries series is pretty good. The story starts off in Genovia and doesn't really have a pull till she gets back in the states. Some of my favorite characters are jipped in this book. Mr. Gianni was in like 3 pages in the book. Oh well! Meg will get it next time!

Summary: Princess in Waition
Review: this was the bes' book eva! Princess Mia is in Genovia, meeting people and going to boring tea parties, and meetings. while giving a speech to the people of Genovia, veering from the prepared script and going on about public parking meters, Grandmere is now going to give her more princess lessons! The worste thing ever! also meeting here cousing Prince Rene. Well barely even her cousin. he's been what, eleven hundred times removed? He's a prince, but no longer allowed to set foot on his native land by Italian law. he, i'd like to point out is not a very, well he is nice, but he just seems kinda irritating. he pisses me off really, not until the end though. returning to New York was not only good, but also bad. you see, Mia must return to New York with Grandmere to give her more princess lessons and her father isn't coming because he has to solve the problem about public parking meters! but returing home means seeing Michael! She hasn't been calling Michael for a while on a count of Grandmere gave her a book called Jane Eyre. Grandmere said that Michael should be the one to chase after her, not her chasing after Michael. she also wants to know and keeps worrying if Michael loves her just as a friend or if hes IN love with her. when she gets home, she instant message him and he just asked her out! Ohmigod! next day, when picking Lilly and Michael up, he asks her if she could go cuz she had ta ask her mom, and she could, and he kissed her!! For reals! No lie. But, as always, skool isn't the best. Lana as always, bugs Mia, and now the whole skool knows that Mia and Michael are together. Mia, does the most greatest thing ever. She crushes Lana's cell, but now she's suspended for like, a day. Princess lessons are the worste. Guess whos here? Rene!! I mean, whats he doing here?! Don't he have skool? Not only that, but, Mia has to bo to a black and white ball. ON THE SAME DAY AS HER FIRST DATE WITH MICHAEL!! What's she gonna do? and not only that, but she has to go with Rene!! Now go and buy the book, or if your short on cash get to the library ASAP! cuz you this is the bes' book and the ending, well lets just say its a GREAT one, and, she also finds out what her talent is and it was right in front of her nose!
