Summary: My favorite in the series
Review: I started reading the Princess Diaries series somewhat reluctantly. They seemed a little silly to me and maybe too "pre-teen". Luckily, I was mistaken. Of course, these aren't fine works of literature but would you expect that from book that has a tiara on its' cover? I don't think so. Meg Cabot is a great writer and good at imitating the way teenagers write/speak/act. These books are entertaining and a light read. This is my favorite of the series thus far. I really enjoyed Mia finding her talent and her first "real" relationship. I could relate with her talent (I won't tell you what it is :). I took one star off because I would like if Mrs. Cabot would make Mia more of a confident character. It grew tedious when Mia seemed desperate for Michael to be "in love" with her. Hopefully, Mia will grow in the next books. Great book for any fan of this series!

Summary: GREAT BOOK ! - Princess in Waiting By: Meg Cabot
Review: The book I read was called Princess in Waiting. Meg Cabot, who also wrote other books and sequels to this one, writes this book. One of the sequels to this book is called Princess Diaries and it is the 1st book in this sequel. There was even a movie made based on the 1st book also called Princess Diaries.
The book is about a girl named Mia who became a princess for the small country of Genovia. Mia found out at the age of 12 that she was a princess because her deceased father was the prince. Mia has to leave the U.S. for short periods of time like her winter vacations and fall vacations and go to Genovia. In this sequel she is in Genovia during her winter vacation. While she is there she has to leave all of her family and friends at home in the U.S. including her boyfriend Michael. She really likes Michael and doesn't want to leave him and so while she is in Genovia a lot of things are going through her head. She says, "Like a millennium falcon in overdrive our love will thrive and thrive". This quote she is saying about Michael. She really misses home and has to face a lot of problems like adapting to a whole lifestyle. I think this is a good book because its very funny and it has a good plot and story to go along with it. But, to understand this book you need to read at least the 1st book in the sequel. It's a good book to read.

Summary: If only there were more stars
Review: If only there were more stars to give this book!i totally loved it! It left right off in Genovia, so you get to see what type of crazy (and hectic) stuff Mia gets herself into. Between obsessing what to get Micheal for his birthday (it's so great they finally end up together) and how to keep him, you get to take a laugh out loud look at a 'normal' teenage life. Even though the ending was slightly not as great as the others(but still WAY cool and 'self-actualized'), i recommend this book whole-heartedly.

Summary: Um, oK I guess
Review: This is a OK book. It was very disapointing when Mia started to be all shallow and annoying. I used to really relate to her but now I can't because she is so obbsesed over Micheal. I really like the first three books but I was disapointed with this one. I give this book a four stars because I love the series but this book didn't quite say outstanding! to me.

Summary: It just keeps getting better!
Review: Princess In Waiting is an excellent addition to the fantastic Princess Diaries series. The humor in Meg Cabot's books is so unique that upon getting the book I had to wonder if perhaps her humor well was going to begin to run dry with this installment. Fortunately, not so! It is just as good as the first three books, if not better. I hesitate to give away too much of the plot (it's best read for yourself) but I think I can let slip this much: the story takes place directly following book #3, Princess In Love. Princess In Waiting is chock-full of the aforementioned Cabot humor - sarcastic and guaranteed to make you laugh out loud at least once or twice during the book.

Summary: Poor Little Princess
Review: This book contains a good base plot, and dimensional characters, but I'm getting a little sick of Mia's whining all the time. She doesn't realise what she has and how grateful she needs to be. For someone who wants to help out the world, she needs to help out herself. And plus, those soda plastic rings? They decompose in sunlight, thus there is no need for scissors. If Mia was such an expert, she would know that, wouldn't she?

Review: The Princess Diaries are my favorite books, next to Harry Potter. A lot of laugh out loud moments, and it is really, really good. I love all 6 Princess Diaries. The Princess Diaries, Princess in the Spotlight, Princess in Love, Princess in Waiting, Project Princess, and Princess Lessons are all awesome!!!!!!!!! READ THESE BOOKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Summary: Another Great Addition to the Series
Review: It is now the beginning of the New Year, and where is Mia? Well, in Genovia, of course. Doing all kinds of boring things that she doesn't care to be forced to do, when she could be back in New York, spending time with her now OFFICIAL boyfriend, Michael! Unfortunately, he's in Florida visiting his grandparents. But not for long. Soon Mia and Michael are together again, and Mia is getting ready for her long awaited date with Michael, when she has to cancel. Why, oh why, does she have the absolute worst luck in the world? Now she's worried that Michael hates her, and will never want to speak to her again. Her life has taken yet another wrong turn. UGH!! Cabot has created another great addition to The Princess Diaries series. Mia's insistent compaining and whining will have any girl laughing out loud, and sharing her pain. A must have book for anyone, especially fans of Cabot's previously published works. Erika Sorocco

Summary: Not quite up to par...
Review: For the first time in reading this series, I was eager to get to the end of this book. The first portion of the book focuses on Mia's stay in Genovia, when all I wanted was to see how her romance with Michael progesses. Once back in New York, Mia starts questioning how sincere Michael is about their relationship. This may be a realistic portrayal of high school relationship, but it doesn't make for very exciting reading. This is a still a good book that fans of the series will enjoy, but it's not quite as enjoyable as the previous installments.
