Review: The book, Island of the Blue Dolphins, is a GREAT book. Although in some parts it is boring. I liked the part when Karana made hide-outs for when the Aluets came. The part I disliked was when Rontu, her dog, died. The book is about a girl, named Karana, who lived alone on the island. Read the book to find out how she got to be alone. Karana is a brave young girl. She was a strong person.

Review: Island of the Blue Dolphins was very,very intersting but slow. I would recommend this book to everyone who loves to read.This storie about Karana a girl who is left behind on a lonely island. She has to survive from wild animals hearting her, catch her own food, and make her own weapons. She survives by having wild dogs to protect her and make her own protection. If you read it you would like it. If you like fast paced books you would still like this book. Karana is always in a exciting new adventure.My opinion is 4 stars. Shes a very courageos girl who wants to stay alive. Plus the story really happend.

A part of the book that shows a lot of courage is when Karana tries rowing across the ocean in a row boat I dont want to ruin the book so you'll have to read the book to find out what happens. This book has lots of adventure and a lot of nature. Read this book and enjoy every chapter and page. I sure did!!!

Review: I enjoyed the book Island Of Blue Dolphins . It was very good and sad all at the same time . This book was about a girl named Karana that was stranded on an Island for 18 years. I enjoyed this book because she was alone for 18 years and then found a dog that she named Ronto. Read this book Island Of Blue Dolpnins to find more about Karana and more about her life and dog Rontu on the Island for 18 years.

Summary: The friendyly relationship between people and animls
Review: This is story of Karana, the Indian girl who lived alone for years on the island of the Dolphins. But she got her good friends who were animals. She felt warm and happy from the animals. It was not only an unusual adventure of survival, but also a tale of natural beauty and personal discovery. During 30 years, Karaka changed the relationship between animals and her. I love this book because the book shows us how to make a friendly relationship between people and animals.
Please do not hurt the innocent animals if you want to get the trust from animals. Karaka hurt the animals for getting the beautiful feathers, making spears and shoulder armar at the beginning of the book. As result, the wild dogs killed her younger brother. We know sometimes animals lost trust for persons because they were hurt too much. In Tibet, which is an autonomous region of west of China, has a kind of sheep. We call them "Tibet sheep" whose the quantities are less than 1,000 in the world. Their sheepskin can be woven the expensive clothes. The price is higher than gold in west Europe. In the past 20 years, people killed Tibet sheep crazy for money. They were hurt so deeply even though nobody can near to them in any time if they still alive. The scientists have to stop for researching them. Maybe in ten years, Tibet sheep, which is the valuable sheep, will disappear on the earth.
Please try to exchange with animals, you can get an honest friend. Krarana gave up to kill the head of the wild dogs. She talked about Rontu(The dog's name). Rontu companied Krarana till he died after they became good friends. So we know people and animals can be friends although we cannot understand the language for each other. Police dog can help out the policeman to catch the prisoner. The cats can let old people forget the lonely life. The training monkeys bring happy for the children. Too many examples tell us if we try to exchange with animals they will return more wonderfully feelings for us. Please protect the animals, without animals the earth would be unhappy place. Karana lived with birds, gulls and otters together when she stayed on the island. They look like a big family. So we know it is possible that people get well with animals. I saw a cute squirrel that wants to go to the other side of street when I walked in the street of New York last December. Of cause, she could not push the red light. However, it was surprise for me the cars stopped and let the squirrel go first. At that moment. I was shake by the friendly relationship. New York, the biggest city in America, still is the paradise for the animals. My heart filled up the warm feelings. People have to put up many cities for our life. If you should be thought the cities will destroy the animals' home, I will tell you treat animals nicely we will have one big home.
Karana knew animals are like people though they do not talk the same or do the same things. I love the book because I know something from karana's story. I think we have the important thing to do now. We should share our space with animals and give animals a tolerant surrounding. If we put up a friendly relationship with animals, I am sure we will get the generous repay from natural.

Review: I DONT SAY THIS ABOUT MANY BOOKS BUT IF I WERE STUCK ON A DESERT ISLAND AND COULD BRING ONLY 3 THINGS TO ENTERTAIN MYSELF THIS WOULD BE MY BEST CHOICE>>> I FIRST READ THIS BOOK IN THE SIXTH GRADE AND HAVE READ IT TWICE SINCE THEN I JUST CANT PUT IT DOWN I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Summary: One of my favorite books!
Review: A very, very good book! This is how it is to get lost on an island for years and years. I live near the California coast, so I went to the mission where Karana was buried & saw her grave! This book starts were Karana & her brother see a ship while gathering stuff on the coast of their island, San Nicholas. The Aluts come & her tribe has to leave their beloved island. Karana's brother is left on the island by accident, so Karana jumps off the boat, into the sea & back to the island to some how get her brother back on the ship. (hopefully) But, unfortunately, the boat does not come back & they r left alone on San Nicholas. Karana comes upon many, many troubles, one of the 1st major ones is... If you want to find out, read the book! A very, very good book! A good book to sit near the fire & read. A MUST READ!!
