Summary: Please Read
Review: "The book that I could not put down", Out of all the books I have read in my lifetime this is by far the best book ever written in my eyes. Growing up I thought I had it hard with my dad, well he is an angel compared to what this boy had to got through. When you read this book it will bring tears to your eyes, it did to mine. If I could this book would be rated 10 stars. If you have any questions about the book email me at dustyg@hotmail,com, in the subject line type "A Child Called it".

Summary: Totally unbelieveable!
Review: Here is a story that everyone in our society needs to read! I quote...EVERYONE! I cannot begin to tell you all of the emotions I went through in reading this book. This young boy suffered by the hands of his own flesh and blood... And people wonder why our children are so lost in our world today. Where is the Love...? The key word that brings us fourth responsible, productive, careing young adults. His mother, can give every excuse in the book as to why she choose to do what she did,but she will never convience me that she loved that boy.Never!.Lord I have to leave this one up to you,to do the forgiving...somehow I just can't bring myself to find it.

Summary: EYE OPENER!
Review: This tragic story of a storg willed young boy touches one's heart and open's one's eyes in so many ways. I read this book in one school day. During passing periods I would read and have my friends guide me through the hall. During class I secretly read the book while the teacher was talking and during lunch I read while I ate. This book was so good that I couldn't put it down, as you can see. This book opened my eyes and show me how easy I have it and how lucky I am to be served three meals a day and even have snacks in between. If you want to read a book, be sure to pick up A CHILD CALLED IT. It really was the best story I have ever read.

Summary: Excellent Book!
Review: This is an excellent book. In the beginning, I didn't think I would be able finish the book because of the things David went through in his childhood. I was angry with his mom, but evern more so with his "jelly" back dad.

How can a real "man" see his child suffer the way he had?

I do recommend the book and I truly Thank God for giving David courage to tell his story.

Summary: The most touching story that has ever been told.
Review: When I heard of the book "A child called it", it was recommended to me by a friend.Rarely do I ever read what others tell me to,but when it was described to me I just had to read it.I am glad that I did. This book has changed my life and my views of child abuse in such a dramatic way that I can't even describe.I recommend this book to anyone who dares to know the truth about all of the others out there who are kept with the same secret as David was. There is a piece of David in everyone just a child trying to get through thier life.I have now fallen in love with Dave as a hero.He is the hero to himself as he is to all others, especially me.He deserves ten stars.

Summary: I enjoyed this book a lot . . .
Review: . . . but there's another book I found that opened my eyes to how it all began. It's called "Out of the Darkness: The Story of Mary Ellen Wilson", and if you want to read about a little girl, who in 1874 was rescued by the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (yes, the ASPCA!), you should read it. I give it 5 stars, as did everyone else who has read and commented on Amazon. By Shelman and Lazoritz, you'll enjoy it. Keep up the great work, Dave. I also enjoyed your last two books!

Summary: The sad truth of many peoples lives.
Review: David Pelzers book "A Child Child Called It" is the most incredible book I have ever read in my life. From first hand experience I know how sad yet common this kind of abuse is. Although I could not even imagine some of the things that this poor boy had to live through,I know exactly how he felt. I love the way he expressed not only the physical pain he felt, but also all the emotional torment he went through. I feel very sad that so many of us have had to live through these kinds of situations. I very much admire David Pelzer for having the courage and strengh to survive. And especially to beable to relive it all to write the book. He is very insperational and shows us all that no matter what, we have the strenght to carry on.

Summary: HEART-BREAKING STORY YOU'LL WANT TO READ!
Review: This is one of the best books I've read by Pelzer. This is a story about the author Dave Pelzer and how he survived his childhood. Its a good story to read if you fell strongly for children,or if you know someone who is abused. It made me realize how lucky I am. This book was so good I could'nt stop reading it.

Summary: Easy Reading Book
Review: I couldn't put this book down. It was very hard to believe this mother could do any of these mean things to her child. I was especially angry with the father. I can't believe he wouldn't do anything to stop this abuse. Planning to read the next two books of his to see how he over came these terrible events. Hope to get a few questions answered, like whatever happened to the mother, father and siblings and if they feel as bad as they should. I grew up in San Francisco and was just four years older than David. It's a weird feeling knowing I could have walked right by him and never realize what he'd gone through.

Summary: revenge but worst dreams!
Review: I think that this book is one of the best by Pezler. It has alot of detail and real life facts in it. It takes you to a place that is beyond what life should be! I recomend this book to anyone who is willing to explode. This book is full of do's and dont's. It takes you through dimensions to some place called earth and what happens in every day life. Its full of entertainment, its a book you dont want to put down. From misuse clear to abuse. Its a book thats recomended for all readers. Warning-some parts may be highly explosive and mind wondering! Its a must read.
