Summary: Can You Keep a Secret
Review: Better than I expected! Right up there w/ the shopaholic series.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Best So Far
Review: I have never reviewed anything with the best possible rating, until now. Can You Keep A Secret? actually deserves it. This is the only book I have read that truly deserves all five stars. It was Kinsella at her best. The novel was laugh-out-loud funny, and I must say, I actually did a minimum ten times. There were many of those moments when you go back to re-read the same passage in case you missed something, but you still laugh just as hard the second time around. I can honestly say I enjoyed these more than the Shopaholics, mainly because the main character is more likeable. She is realistic and genuine - truly someone I would want to be friends with. I believe any woman who often speaks before running her words through her 'filter' would love this novel as much as I did.

Summary: witty, wicked and enchanting.......
Review: Emma Corrigan is searching for a way to make her dreams come true, a great guy, a great job and real happiness. She manages to utterly destroy her chances for a promotion at her first opportunity. On her way home from her failed business meeting, she relates everything she regards as a personal failing to a stranger and the story takes off from there. What happens when all your personal secrets are no longer hidden away? Does it change who you are, does it change who your friends are or does it open new opportunities...? Kinsella is a witty, disarming author who wickedly enchants and humorously captivates in a story of the search for happiness, love and acceptance. This is a true joy to read!

Summary: Another Winner!!!
Review: As a devotee of the Shopaholic books, I eagerly read Can You Keep a Secret the minute it came out. I was thrilled with it. The premise, that the main character, Emma, thinks she is going to die in a plane crash and divulges her most intimate secrets to a handsome stranger hooked me from the very beginning. I read the entire book in one night!!! The plot twists were engaging and surprising, and though the story didn't go quite as "deep" as I'd hoped, I thought it was an excellent read.

Summary: Sophie Has Another Hit!
Review: I am a HUGE fan of Sophie Kinsella's books. I loved the entire Shopaholic series. I had high hopes for this new book and it was better than expected. I laughed out loud and couldn't put the book down.

Emma Corrigan is the character in this novel and she has a few secrets from her boyfriend, her family, and her friends. Don't we all? On a plane ride home from a disastrous business meeting they hit turbulance and she thinks she's going to die. She spills all her secrets to the man next to her on the plane. This man turns out to be the very sexy owner of the company she works for...Emma later finds out. The story goes from there and is so funny, heart wrenching, and honest.

We all have secrets...even little things like weight and hair color...that we don't want to get out. Emma is totally easy to relate to and Kinsella has a way of making you really feel the character. I wanted to be there to help Emma out or give her a hug. I definitely recommend this book.

Summary: Magnificent!
Review: As a fan of the Shopaholic series, I figured I'd give this book I try and I loved it! I literally could not put it down. I haven't laughed so hard at a book in a long time

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Not Bad
Review: Definitely lacking the charm and wit of the Shopaholic series. Predictable plot and ending. Decent read.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Excellent Read!
Review: This is a great book!!! I read it in about 1 1/2days and was up until 2:30 in the morning finishing it. It was so exciting I didn't want to put it down.

This book is about a 20 something on her way back from a presentation who spills her guts to the guys sitting next to her on the plane when she thinks they are going to crash. Though she is embarassed when she realizes what she's done, she figures she won't see him again so it doesn't matter. Days later Emma finds out that the guy she told her innermost secrets to is the CEO of her company.

This book is as exciting, funny and cativating as the "Shopaholic" series. However, what makes this book even funnier is waiting to find out what secret about Emma that the boss remembers next.

This is a must read and a must own for any book collection.

Summary: my favorite!
Review: I haven't read a good book in awhile, so when I bought Can you keep a Secret? It was such a relief! It was such a good book that made me laugh out loud, and even made me cry! Sometimes i even put the book down and Said to myself "oh...my..gosh! I can't believe it!" I couldn't put this book down and stayed up until 5 in the morning because I just couldn't get enough!! Her writing style totally puts you in Emma's position and it feels like you're right there with her. If I was in the entertainment business...I would want to make this into a movie, no doubt! GET THIS BOOK! IT'S WORTH IT!!
