Summary: I can't keep a secret!!
Review: I've recently read this book, for the reason that I wanted to read something light and romantic for a change. The secret is out...it was absolutely hilarious! I couldn't put the book down -Sophie Kinsella did a great job with Emma Corrigan, the quirky funny 20-something character along with her drama w/ her family, dull boyfriend, backstabber officemates, and romantic tensions with Jack. If you need a good laugh and feel better for not lying about your underwear size, I highly recommend this book a must read.

Summary: Amazing!!
Review: I have been a huge fan of Sophie Kinsella and the Shopaholic series. I finished this book in a day and laughed out loud throughout it. I even woke my husband up a few times laughing! This was the best!

Summary: Good summer reading---light, entertaining, & funny
Review: I couldn't get into the "Shopaholic" books by this author, so I was pleasantly surprised by this book. It was fun from the first page, never took itself too seriously and, thus, did not disappoint (a la "Nanny Diaries" or "The Devil Wears Prada").

Summary: THE LAUGHS CONTINUE..................
Review: ....with the newest character that Ms. Kinsella has created. Emma Corrigan is a lowly marketing secretary; she shares a flat with the brilliant but naive Lissy, who is her best friend, and Jemima, a designer-clad dodo whose entire life is geared towards getting a "rock" on her finger. Emma's life is blah; she is dating the handsome but dull Connor (who secretly reminds her of Ken, of Barbie and Ken fame) with whom she secretly has nothing in common. Her lack of career/personal success is magnified by cousin Kerry's (who lived with the Corrigans throughout her childhood and is like a second daughter to Emma's parents) entrepenurial/marital achievements. Then she encounters a stranger on an tumultuous plane ride to whom she divulges all of her biggest secrets (she secretly only pretends to like jazz, since Connor loves it, she is really NOT a size 4, and G-strings hurt). When the plane lands safely after all, Emma breathes a sigh of relief and thinks that is the end of it. Until she shows up at her job at the Panther Corporation and discovers that the "stranger" on the plane is actually one of the company's founding fathers...and Emma's life is soon thrown into complete chaos...!!

Fans of Becky Bloomwood from Kinsella's "Shopaholic" series will find the secretive Emma Corrigan equally adorable. Dare we hope that this is the start of yet another fabulous series?!?

Summary: Kinsella Never Fails To Make A Masterpeice
Review: Sophie Kinsella manages to do it again. She yet again had produced a book that I find myself unable to put down. Her cute quirky comments never fail to make you smile. The romantic swist at the end is the icing on the cake. I found myself wanting more once it was over.

Summary: Very funny
Review: I am not normally a fan of romantic comedy but this had the perfect touch. You meet the man of your dreams on a plane, and he turns out to be your new boss when you are back at work on Monday morning.

Only instead of telling a pack of lies to impress, she blurts out the whole truth about everything and every one in her life.

There are the white lies we tell, and things we don't say at all, to avoid hurting the people we care about, and then there are huge whoppers. Emma falls into the first category. Jack is so secretive she can't get him to talk at all.

When he finally does, he tells all about her, because he loves her. But with the most shcoing results.

The dramatic tension and romantic tension in the book is far better than any of her Shopaholic books. And I find Emma much more charming. the cast of characters who all get their comeuppance in one way or the other are priceless. One thing is for sure, you will never look at lawyers or little white lies the same way again, let alone thong underwear!

I loved Jack-he actually had personality compare with Luke in her other books. Fast paced and extremely funny! Enjoy!

Summary: I'll Tell You A Secret---I Love This Book!
Review: It's light, fun, and totally entertaining. No deep plot, no bio-terrorism or horrific religious scandal. Just a breezy and funny slice of life as seen through the eyes of Sophie Kinsella's newest heroine, the endearing Emma Corrigan.

Already a white-knuckle flyer, Emma goes to pieces when her flight from Glasgow to London encounters severe turbulence. Thinking the end is near, she spills every secret she has ever had to the stranger next to her. How she lost her virginity, what she really thinks of her boyfriend, the petty stunts she pulls on co-workers, the way she killed her parents' goldfish while they were on vacation and replaced it without their knowledge, her deepest thoughts on g-strings, cousins, Charles Dickens, and more. When the plane miraculously lands, Emma is thankful she will never again see this man who knows every little secret of her life.

Emma returns to her job as a junior marketing executive and as she attempts to climb the corporate ladder, every embarrassing secret of her life is exposed. How Emma combats this public humiliation and discovers another person's secret makes for a rollicking good read.

Emma is very reminiscent of Kinsella's other heroine, the shopaholic Becky Bloomwood. Equally appealing are Emma's two flatmates---her life-long friend Lissy and the irrepressible Jemima who will have you laughing hystericaly at her thoughts on men, jewels, and all things fashionable.

This is a quick and fun read, sure to satisfy fans of the Shopaholic series or chick-lit in general.

Summary: Kinsella does it again!
Review: I loved the Shopaholic series and was excited read Sophie Kinsella's next offering! It was a fun & quick read! Not too much thinking involved on the readers part (except one part where you are trying to figure out a certain someone's secret) -it will take you away into Emma Corrigan's world for a little while. Shopaholic lovers enjoy!

Summary: I'll never tell...okay, I'll tell you!
Review: I bought this book last night I finished reading it just a few hours later. It tells the story of how the white lies of Emma's life have defined all of her relationships. She's a twenty-something who has struggled to find her way in the last few years and tries to make her relationships with others smoother by telling them mostly what they want to hear, all the while not she's not happy. On a bumpy flight home from a bumpy business meeting, she tells all of the secrets she's been keeping from everyone to a complete stranger confident that she'll never see him again. Only, it doesn't quite work out that way...

I loved this book! As a twenty-something who's going through my own bumpy life, I completely identified with Emma and loved her to pieces. I think Ms. Kinsella's writing style and storylines have improved so much over the Shopaholic series (which I loved) and it allowed me to enjoy all of the characters. It's very similar to the Shopaholic books as it addresses the need for honesty in all relationships in order to be happy but at the same time taking in to consideration the needs of the other people we interact with in our lives. I found myself laughing out loud at many points and crying at several as well. Chaucer this book is not, but it IS a standout in a world cluttered with mediocre chick lit
