Summary: 5 stars all the way!
Review: I loved the characters in this book. My favorite character was Digory Kirke. Digory is a little boy who seems to be the center of the book. He was the most adventerous, curious, and you really could not tell what he was going to do from time to time. It was fun to see what Digory was going to do next. All of the people in the book were fun. The mean and cruel character was cool! The cruel character's name was Uncle Andrew. He is the one who started the whole mess of the book in the first place. Uncle Anderw was a selfish man. All he seems to care about is himself and the magic. My favorite thing that I liked in this book was when the kids become Uncle Anderw's lab rats! I'm not weird--I like that part because that's when the adventure begins! That's when the magic starts and fun starts. I rated this book 5 stars because it was a book that you keep turning the pages. If you stop, it leaves you hanging. The book is magical. If you like to read, or even if you don't, you should READ IT!!

Review: Wow. I really loved this book a lot. I am going to read it many times. I loved the characters personalities. Lewis described them very well. I liked the way he described the places. I liked the part where all of the animals began to talk. I really loved the part where Digory brought Jadis back to life. I will recomend this book to everyone. Even if you've read it, read it again. I greatly disagree with everyone who hated this book. If you did, you need to read it again. You'll probably agree with me then,that this book was awesome!!! What scared me was that Jade is my middle name. And that's so close to Jadis that it's scary! But, getting back to the book.I wish I could tell C.S. Lewis how much I loved his book. I can't explain exactly how much I loved it. I am so glad that you have read my review. I LOVED this book. READ IT!!!

Summary: Excellent Novel!!!
Review: The Magicians Nephew is a very important book in the Narnia series. It tells how narnia was created and how the animals are able to talk. IOt starts off with Digory and his friend Polly being transported to a magic wood by his uncle Andrew an evil magician. The wood is filled with many lakes. Digory and Polly jump into one and they are immediately Transported to Narnia. They struggle with a witch, befriend Aslan the Great Lion, and see Narnia being created before their very eyes. Together they banish the Witch and Narnia is protected for years to come. The Magicians Neohew is the 6th book in the Chronicles of Narnia. It is very important because it tells how Narnia was created and it also reveals the answers to many secrets that are brought up in the first five books. It is an excellent novel that will make you want to finish the series. Reviewed by Joshua Bixler *****stars

Summary: From sublime to sub-sublime
Review: This book contains what is possibly the best stepping-through-door-after-door sequence I have ever read. Digory and Polly go through an attic passageway to the strange Uncle Andrew's strange study, from which they go to the wood between the worlds, and from there to Charn. Each location has its own kind of power and within each location the cumulative discoveries to be made are spellbinding. This is the most genuinely disturning and breathtaking sequence in the Narnia books. (Also: Lewis had a special knack for appropriating the images of science fiction, and making them seem part of a purely fantasy world. He does it even more effectively here than in "Perelandra".) Alas, the rest of the book doesn't live up to the promise of the opening. Possibly it couldn't. One section (Uncle Andrew imprisoned by the animals) is implausible and even - I hate to say this - irritating. But Lewis still has a good story to tell, and adheres to it all the way to a satisfying ending, so you scarcely mind the descent from the plateau.

Summary: Fantastic children's religious alegory
Review: Digory and Polly are tricked by his Digory's Uncle Andrew into a different realm. The children meet Aslan, the lion who is the creator and lord of the magical world of Narnia. They experience the creation of Narnia and its inhabitants. Digory brings home an apple and plants it in his back yard. The apple tree is eventually used to build a wardrobe which serves as the magical entrance to Narnia in later generations. Children may or may not pick up on the Christian principles which underlay the novel; either way, they will be unable to put the book down because it is so full of excellent description and anticipation.

Review: This is a great book for anyone to read! In fact, I think it is the best of all of the Chronicles of Narnia, because so many questions I wondered about were answered! It is about two young children, Digory and Polly. They are tricked into becoming part of Digory's lunatic Uncle Andrew's experiment by touching beautiful yellow rings. Little did they know that the rings were magical, and soon after they touched the rings, they were thrown into the wood between the worlds. There, they could enter billions of undiscovered worlds. In one world, they meet the evil queen Jadis, who is awaken by a magical spell. The queen tries to conquer London when she is accidentally brought back with the kids. When they finally manage to get Jadis away before she rules London, they find themselves in a differen type of world. A place that comes to be known as Narnia, and a place where the evil queen is not permitted. I would highly reccommend anyone to read this extremely adventurous book, whether or not they've already read the other Chronicles of Narnia. This was one of the best books I have ever read. If I enjoyed it, I'm sure you will too!

Summary: A really mind-opening book.
Review: This book is one of my favorites in the Narnia Chronicles. I like how it comes to a complete closure to that story, but also opens up another story. The details are so wonderful you feel as if you're really there with the characters. I think that this is one of those can't-put-down books-you just have to keep reading!

Summary: One of the best books I've read.
Review: This book is good to any person who loves reading. Its about 2 children who discover Narnia by using magic rings. They were given the rings by the evil magician. The children decided to try and get to other worlds using the rings. One of the worlds were full of evil which they meet a sorceror who tried to take over Earth. The two children tried to get the sorceror to leave Earth and go back to her own world but instead they took her to an empty world that is now called Narnia and they found that it was a lion singing opera that made the land of Narnia before their eyes. BUY THIS BOOK because I really enjoyed it and you would to.

Review: This book is about two children whose names were Polly, and Digory they are from London. They accidentally made a mistake and entered into the attic of Digory's house. That is when he saw his crazy uncle. This is howthe whole adventure began.

Summary: This is a must-read book for Narnia fans!
Review: If you like the Narnia Chronicles and you havent read this one, you are missing out on something wonderful. It's like if you had tasted chocolate but not sugar. I loved this book because it told how the land of Narnia came to be. I only wish that Polly and Digory had gone into more of the pools.(You'll know what I'm talking about when you read the book) I wish that everyone in the world could have a copy of this wonderfully intriging book. Its my second favorite, second only to the giver.
