Rating: Summary: Redwall RULES Review: This book is so good. It has so much action and fighting. The plot may not be origanal but he makes it so much better than other books of the same plot. The lady who said this book is "Inappropriate at best for many younger children" that's crazy. Compare it to all the stuff kids watch today on TV and it seems pretty tame.
Rating: Summary: GREAT BOOK!!!!!!!! Review: Redwall is one of, I think, the world's greatest books. I hope Brian Jacques writes 1,000 more Redwall books! Long live Redwall!!
Rating: Summary: Our family is now totally addicted to Redwall! Review: I originally ordered the first Redwall audio book out of curiosity. We love to listen to stories and books and had read so much about these books that the audio version immediately appealed to me. My oldest (10 1/2), who is usually the last to get involved in our listening, was so wrapped up in it that I had to force him to eat! He was extremely frustrated to be left hanging at the end. I had to order the other two immediately in order to curb his withdrawl. Now all three of my boys (the other two are 9 and 5 1/2) are hooked. Each now has a Redwall poster in their rooms and are often involved in creating their own Redwall-like fantasy stories. It has done wonders for my older boys' creative writing. We now have the written versions of the remaining episodes. My oldest is reading them now. We anxiously await any more audio installments!!! By the way, the wonderful variety of accents only make it all the more outstanding listening!
Rating: Summary: Redwall is near the top! Review: Zack's Rating:96%The savage rat Cluny the Scourge, with a whiplike tail and backed by a huge horde, invade the peaceful Redwall Abbey. The young mouse Matthias must recover the great sword of Martin the Warrior and use it to bring peace to Redwall...
Rating: Summary: oKAY Review: This book was okay but it got confusing at times and the story got often boring. But I recomend this book to redwall fans.
Rating: Summary: Listen to the expert Review: An awesome story about some rats led by Cluny the Scourge attack a "peaceful" abbey called Redwall. They go to war, and led by the honor of Martin the Warrior, the abbey puts up a fight.
Rating: Summary: An epic tale of friendship and swashbuckling adventure! Review: A great book with character development deep enough to make you cry when someone dies. The action scenes abound with a nice balance of descriptive paragraphs. The best part of the book are Jacques' tantalizing descriptions of food!
