Rating: Summary: Great Book! Review: This is a really good book! I heard about it through the Redwall Television Series(I was watching Mattimeo so I didn't know what "Redwall"'s plot was or who Cluny the Scourge was). The story is adventurous! I was constantly reading it,waiting to see when Matthias would find the sword and fend off Cluny. It has a great climax and beginning! I'm giving a copy to my friend for her birthday! I recommend you read it!

Rating: Summary: FANTASTIC DETAIL IN A WONDERFUL BOOK! Review: This book, which is the first in the series,is excellent! I've always looked for a book like this one. Jacques takes you into the fabulous world of the Redwall Abbey and all of its creatures. With imagination and daring excitement you will never want to leave this book. I read this book because I noticed everyone else was reading it too. I went to our school library to check it out. When I opened the book, and read the first page I began to notice that it was very exciting and detailed. With each page keeping you in suspense, I can promise you will not want to stop reading. Each page keeps you informed as to which character is doing what. Every last page is finely detailed in wording, but doesn't get to the point to where the vocabulary words are too complex and you have to look them up in a dictionary. With edge of your seat suspense and thrilling excitement this promises to be a must have for all readers. (Submitted by JWF, a 12-year-old reader)
