Summary: OUTSTANDING!
Review: This is the first Danielle Steel novel I've ever read and I have to say that this book was very sad and heartwarming, not to mention beautifully written! I don't read much, and I read it in 3 days! I couldn't put the book down! (For me, 3 days is a short time.) Great job, Ms. Steel! I hope to aspire to write like you someday!

Summary: One of the best books I have ever read.
Review: This book really touched me. I was so shocked to see what happened to this girl that I thought my problems were petty and stupid. I don't think that I will ever read such a book like that again

Summary: Heart-Wrenching
Review: Though the story kept you going, this is the first of her books that I actually had to put down after certain parts because it was so heart wrenching that I couldn't read on. Surely, no one could endure so much sorrow in one lifetime and survive. Though the ending was good, she deserved much more.

Summary: Incredibly engrossing from cover to cover!
Review: I read this book, cover to cover, in one sitting. I could not put it down. By page five I was bawling, but so captivated, I could not stop reading. This is a heartwrenching story but, unfortunately, one that happens daily in the real world. Gabbie, the main character, is truly a study in the triumph of the human spirit. Good job, Ms. Steel!

Summary: OUTSTANDING!
Review: This is a beautifully written book. So good that I couldn't put it down. I took it home on leave with me in May, and my mom got ahold of it, and she isn't a fast reader, but she read it in 3 days, SHE couldn't put it down, and neither could I. It is an easy page turner. Wonderfully written! It deserves more that 5 stars in my eyes!

Summary: This is a book about abuse, courage and faith. OUTSTANDING!
Review: I could not put the book down. Gabrielle has lived an unbearable childhood. But she has a good heart and that is what has kept her going, FAITH. Ilove that part about her and the priest. It seemed so realistic but yet sad. Danielle, you go girl!

Summary: The most addicting novel ever!!!
Review: The Long Road Home , was one of the best novels i have ever read. Considering i am a 15 year old who basically despises reading; Thats pretty good! It was the most addictive, most involving book that i have ever read. It seemed to keep me up all night, almost like no page seemed to be "a good stopping point" if you are thinking about reading this book do! Its great!

Summary: EXCELLENT
Review: I am an avid Danielle Steel fan and have read many of her books. This one stands out as one of my favorites. This is the first time I have listened to it on audio tape. I am in a car pool and all of us cannot wait to get into the car to continue with the story. My 15 yr-old daughter also loved this book. I recommend this one to everyone!
