Summary: I'm ready for the sequel ! ! ! ! !
Review: I thought this was one of D.S.'s better one's of lately. This is truely one where you could ask for a sequel. There are many ways that she could go with the characters of the book. I hope she would continue this story...

Summary: It's good but Danielle Steel has done better
Review: I just adore Danielle Steel. I have purchased and read all of her novels. I enjoy reading and re-reading and re-reading her novels. Miror Image is one of my least favorites but it still kept me reading. I hope Danielle Steel writes forever.

Summary: Another great love and tragady story from Danielle Steel
Review: Once again I was not let down. I loved this book. It held my attention from start to finish. I read the book in 3hours. If your a Danielle Steel fan you will love this. I found myself rooting for my favorite characters and yelling at my least favorite out loud. I was just wonderful!

Summary: An enchanting and captivating story
Review: I absolutely loved this book. It was an intense and beautifully written period novel about the early part of the 20th Century. The stories main characters Victoria and Olivia are absolutely captivating. Steel's writing draws the reader into their lives and makes it impossible for the reader not to care deeply about them. I wasn't able to put this book down. If you enjoy this book and period stories in general you should also read The Ghost by Steel.

Summary: Somewhat entertaining, rather predictable
Review: I have read better Danielle Steel & I have certainly read worse. I guess I enjoyed this book but I found that as usual, the author repeats herself constantly (we get the point already!) or she takes an entire paragraph to say what could be said in one sentence. However, I found myself wondering when the twins would break the news to Charles about the switch & how he would react. I suppose I would recommend this for casual reading.

Summary: this book is similar to a book titled a Tangled Web
Review: enjoyed the boook, but it was to similar to the above mentioned book titled Tangled web

Summary: The most unbelieveably unbelieveable book ever written
Review: This book truely is Danielle Steele. However, I found it to be one of her most preposterous works to date. The story of the two sisters intrigued me and I was not disappointed with the differences protrayed by the twin characters. On the other hand, I haven't read a Danielle Steel book in quite a while. Possibly, I have learned that the dreamy romances she depicts do not exist in the real world.

Summary: A reflection of the soul
Review: I have written several comments for Amazon.Com. regarding novels by Ms.Steel which I have read. Each time I have admitted that her books are enjoyable to me as they offer a nice diversion from the many serious, well-written novels by other novelists. I think of Danielle Steel as a novelist I like to read in-between tackling more challenging ones - like when one wants to watch a TV movie. In "Mirror Image" I have to admit I was pleased with the ending for it wasn't wrapped up in a nicely neat fairy-tale ending. I hope Ms. Steel continues to write more realistic conclusions. However, much of "Mirror Image" was disappointing. The story of Olivia and Victoria, two identical, mirror image twins, with two very different personalities takes a long time to progress. Victoria scandalizes the family by having an affair with a married man and her father, in order to rectify the family name, forces her to marry a man she does not love, but whom her twin sister loves. Much of what follows is predictable and it is not until Victoria goes to Europe to help with the war that "Mirror Image" becomes interesting. Ms. Steel is not a great writer; therefore, it is her story-telling capabilities which sets her apart from other romance writers and which always keeps this reader enthralled. Unfortunately, "Mirror Image" did not move - it just coasts along. Not one of Ms. Steel's best efforts but, as I said before, I hope she continues writing endings like this one.

Summary: Typical Steel book
Review: This is a typical Danielle Steel book, but much too long for the story told. The first 2/3 of the book was all leading up to the core of the story. Maybe it is the season of the year and having too much to do, but it took me a long time to read this book. I wasn't completely satisfied by the ending. Once it started to end, it came too quickly.
