Summary: Richard needs help.
Review: This book was not inspiring to me. I have read many book by authors such as James Allen, Thich Nhat Hanh, Jim Rohn, Scott Peck and others that are more creative and inspiring. While there is some positive thoughts and intelligent writing, for the most part I found myself frustrated with Richards contempt for the IRS, immature view of relationships and endless search for his soul mate. I expected a more realistic description to Richard's life, maturity and love, but received an ego based drama that leaves me feeling short changed. For those who are more emotional and less analytical, you will find more enjoy from this book than I. Happy reading.

Summary: Sort of a How-To-Find-Your-Soulmate-And-How-To-Get-Along-
Review: -With-Him/Her-Afterwards-Guide Folks, IT WORKS! Maybe Bach is not as good as Hemingway - but his stories are much more interesting (and his life obviously as well)! :o) At least 5 stars!

Summary: The single most touching episode in my life!
Review: A dear friend of mine told me to read this book, and I scoffed. I thought, typical girlish romance. But I did pick it up, if only because she told me to, and I kinda trusted her taste. I was in for a shock. Even as a browsed it I was sure I'd never finish it. It would definitely get to the never finished pile. Truth is, I read it all in one breath! Never put it down till I was through... And then I looked through it again, and then I talked about it to my friend, for hours. This book changed me. I finally believed that there was some reason to believe what I'd always believed - in Soulmates. Love is the most wonderful of spheres of existance, and Bach portrayed it like noone else. I haven't read anything else by Bach, but that changes very soon. The simplicity, and the poignancy of the story... it is a truly touching story. All I could think was that Richard Bach and Leslie Parrish have to be the luckiest people in the world. And this book came to me at a time when I needed it. I needed faith in love, and I got it back. If you've ever been in love, or ever thought about Soulmates, this book is for you. Read it... It could change your life.. It changed mine.. Thank you, Bach, for creating this. And thank you Kalpana, for introducing it to me.

Summary: More than a lovestory
Review: This is one of the greatest books I've ever read. The author does not only explain his adventures to find her soulmate (Leslie Parrish), he also shows you his filosofy. This is a really good book, and no one should die before reading it. A true master piece:interesting, poetic, filosofic and romantic. Richard Bach is one of the best authors that exist. I would like to give this book six stars, but I can't. I've also read Illusions, One, Running From Safety, Biplane, Stranger To The Ground, Noyhing by Chance and A Gift Of Wings, all of this autor and all great. Richard Bach is like food for your spirit.

Summary: Definitely not a lovestory.
Review: I am currently reading the book. I am impressed by the author's frankness. Although its titled a lovestory, I believe its much more than that. Yes, the guy find his soulmate after a prolonged search but its the journey which is more important. It teaches the values of the life and what they stand for. Its path for the discovery of your inner self.

The author of Jonathan hasn't let us down although sometimes you feel why doesn't he have any male friends.

Summary: The Truest Soul-Mate book in Existence!
Review: Richard Bach's book transcends all social boundaries of time, space, and human emotions to capture what all of us seek, but few dare to openly attain. The nuances of detail are quite uncanny to mine. His deliverance of thought has a delicate presence, it ponders one spirit through what really matters in life....LOVE in it's purest, unselfish form.

Soul-Mates do indeed exist, for my first synchronicities with my Soul-Mate was Richard's book itself as we first found it was one book we had in common! It had such a profound affect in my early teen years (as I'm in my mid thirties), to this day, it remains the quiessential book of in my library.

I'm proud to say, my SoulMate and I, will marry in April 2000 overlooking the ocean in the same side of the country as the author's domicile. I can also mention, it will be one book which will be passed down to our children, and our children's children....

Summary: WONDERFUL EXPRESSION OF LOVE
Review: This book is nothing less than a wonderful expression of what love is all about. Although it does contain much enlightening information on spiritual and philosophical topics sure to excite "true believers", its main focus is on finding your soulmate in a world grown cold and devoid of real connections. A true gift from the author and his wife to the world!!

Summary: Richard is innocent yet wise beyond my conception
Review: I have never felt such a connection to an author before in my life. An ex-boyfriend of mine used to read Bach and I was never interested in it - until we separated. I went to the bookstore looking for solace in the "B" section for another author, and stumbled over Bach. Just as I was looking at this book, a man came by with the same book in his hand and looked at me with such understanding in his eyes. I started crying, and he told me I must read this book. I said thank you , turned around and the man was gone.

This book answered all of my questions- before the questions were even formed in my head. It helped me re-develop my true spirituality.
