Summary: Dated information
Review: At this point, a lot of this info is "old news" (2005)
and for anyone who has read any of Gregg's other books, eg
The Lost Mode of Prayer, the background info is very similar and repetitive.
I'm sure when it first came out it was more impactful.

Summary: Potentially Dangerous
Review: Braden bases much of his teaching on Gnostic texts (from the Nag Hammadi library) - which the early church apostles warned was heretical. Gnosticism was essentially a psuedo-christian cult - no different than many cults today who distort the truth of the Gospel. Braden also bases his teachings on the Essene text translations (from the Dead Sea Scrolls) of Edmond Bordeaux Szekely, which have been exposed as forgeries among scholars. Braden states that Jesus was an Essene - which there is absolutely no evidence of whatsoever. Jesus was clearly known as the son of Joseph in his hometown when he started his ministry, and had he been living in a self-exiled community for all those years, this wouldn't make sense at all. Not to mention that the teachings of Jesus were in sharp contrast to Essene traditions. Braden also states that Jesus didn't die - but yet he does believe that the shroud of Turin is authentic. The bible cleary tells us that Jesus was dead for three whole days, then ressurrected. Braden does an admirable job in trying to explain the physiological process that must have occurred in the ressurection. He also has an interesting take on Christian rapture teachings and end-time prophecy. But Braden never acknowledges Christ as savior by his blood sacrifice, and I'm sure he doesn't believe such a thing (as the Gnostics didn't).

I can only recommend this book to Christians who are knowledgable in their faith, who might find some interesting insights here. If you are not too familiar with what the bible teaches, then this book/audio can do more harm than good. If you are not Christian, this book will feed your mind with all sorts of seemingly wonderful ideas (see the other reviews) - and this is potentially very harmful ! Braden was the kind of teacher that Jesus and the apostles warned us about, who would deceive many (although perhaps unknowingly as his intentions seem to be good).

Summary: Not Potentially as dangerous as a narrow minded review
Review: Having studied Christian Theology, Joseph Campbell's work and the major religious philosophies, I must totally disagree with the READER FROM NEW YORK's review titled "Potentially Dangerous".. this material is awe-inspiring. Any scholar knows that the Bible, as we know it today was written and re-written by man with full intent to control the masses through fear and guilt and has worked marvelously for two millenium.... the material Braden is speaking of, newly found and still under study, The Dead Sea Scrolls, is the only known material that is concrete evidence of actual history. Braden has only cracked open the vessel holding this information and we are fortunate to have it to open our minds and our hearts to the beautiful value of this...it is a known fact that Jesus actually did exactly what the Isaiah scrolls speak of...and said that all others can do all of what he did and more....great learning here. Religionists love to control by fear and threats,,,don't let that stop you from learning what this material holds for you..Peace and love....

Summary: A nice sequel to Awakening to zero point
Review: I can't say I was as impressed with this as I was with the above mentioned book. The first tape is mostly a review on the book and it can be nice for who hasn't read it or for who has read it long ago. So I did not get particularly impressed with it. The second tape, however, does contain some very good teachings and as I listened through my feelings went from disappointment (from hearing tape 1) to being impressed and enlightened. I will therefore recommend it both for who has read the

related book and for who hasn't.

If you are on a spiritual quest but have difficulty orienting yourself, I am convinced that you will find teachings in Beyond zero point.

Review: The first tape was not indicative of the second tape. If I had not read the reviews, I never would have gotten to the second tape. The second tape was explosive. Most interesting was the information on the relationship of emotions/vibrations to the restructuring of our DNA. This helped me to understand how sick people can recover through, meditation, prayer, their own will, positive emotions, caring and surrounding themselves with people and situations that foster emotion and vibration. I highly recommend this tape to those seeking spiritual meaning to their lives.

Review: This book/audio tape is incredible. Gregg Braden explains what we are all experiencing at this time and how to futher prepare ourselves for the shifts taking place. The information is based on scientific experiments as well. I am circulating the tapes among my friends and ordering more to send to others. This is information we all need to have.
