Summary: True!
Review: Mike is right on target (or are we all now a target?) to expose the Bush Crime Family. It has taken a humorist to expose the absolute crisis that our county is in. As we laugh at this mess, it is also with glee that we can and will turn things around. The real Axis of Evil (Resident, Vice Resident & Attorney General) should be on notice that what they do now will be undone and they are free to watch from a 6x8 cell.

Summary: Just What The Doctor Ordered
Review: This book is like a mega-dose of antibiotic goodness combatting the brain-eating Bush-Cheney fever.

Highly recommended. Mike concisely reveals the unsavory underside of rightwing politics in this country, and seems to insist throughout the book that, despite the seemingly overwhelming power these men may wield, now is the time to fight back against the conservative propaganda machine! If you're tired of silly republican jingoism and their fabricated super-crooks acting in a world of Marvel Comic proportions, read this book. It will introduce you to the all-too-real self-serving culprits who daily prey upon people of this country and the world.

Read this book now!

Summary: Democracy Manifesto...not...Communist Manifesto
Review: Typical Moore, but this time with some really practical involvement tips. A heavy leftist bent, but basically good assimilated documentation of the serious issues that the generally useless primetime media seem too afraid, selfish, or censored to report. Every American should read this book, and curb our knee jerk, fascist flag waiving support of our most corrupt and inefficient government. Remember, Jefferson and Franklin were a "traitors" to King George too. Too bad Gore did not pick Nader, another great exposé author, as his running mate. Gore most definitely would have swept the vote if Moore had not pulled the needed votes to Nader. Maybe in 2004 they will get their act together. Moore bashes the right wing, deservedly, and the Democrats to a fair degree, also deservedly. I think most Moore bashing reviews, probably didn't even read the damn thing. Not the "Communist Manifesto" as one reviewer said, but the "Democracy Manifesto." God help us now, I'm moving to Germany.

Summary: Simply GREAT
Review: The latest of Michael Moore's writing is simply GREAT!

I buzzed through this book and want to read it again right now. Perhaps now America will wake up and see just what terrorism REALLY is...it's rich white men destroying this country to make themselves richer!

Thank you MM!!!!

Summary: Another eye opener from Michael Moore
Review: An amazing book from a truly inspiring American citizen.

Whenever I've read any of Michael's books, or seen any of his other work, I'm amazed and embarrassed at how complacent the vast majority of us have become. This book is a call to action for us to work to return our government and country to what they were really meant to be instead of the sad, perverse distortions of these institutions that we now accept as "just the way things are".

We *are* the United States Government in Exile as Michael says, and we need to do everything we can to take our government and our country back from the crooked politicians and the corporations who currently run this counry. Reading this book is a great place to start...

We need more people like Michael Moore out there who are willing to take chances and remind us of just how much of our freedom and our lives we are giving away to the big corporations and wealthiest 1% of this country every day.

Summary: Great Book
Review: After looking at some of the other reviews for I hope people don't get a flawed view of this book. If providing a very funny and thought provoking criticism of the U.S. government, a flawed corporate system, and other world events makes you a "fat" "communist" "marxist" "mean-spirited, bitter man" that "cannot even compose sentances". Then I guess I'm a "fat" "communist" "marxist" "mean-spirited, bitter man" that "cannot even compose sentances" too, because I LOVED THIS BOOK! Buy this book to laugh and think and to read the truth.

Summary: Michael Moore doe's it again!
Review: The sharpest political and social commentator in America produces another riotessly funny and shockingly revealing book.
Read this and look through the deep, dark truthful mirror

Summary: Great-& guaranteed...
Review: ...While I didn't get--& didn't expect--an apology for helping Repubs steal Florida, Mike is still angry. While I don't appreciate all of his help in appointing Smirk as president, or in helping appoint an attny general who is deathly afraid of calico cats, women's breasts, and the US Constitution, you will find yourself laughing & crying & arguing through the whole book. And while I still don't think Gore would have appointed Ashcroft, Scalia, Cheney, & Ken Lay's friends, sometimes we just need to kick-start political commentary. Mike can still do that.

Summary: WOW
Review: This book cleared my head like a shot of Vick's Vaporub. Reinstalling confidence that the USA has a fighting chance with Mike leading the charge...
