Summary: Has stuck a cord with America and the World
Review: This book is vital is so many ways - most importantly making you think about our great country and what has happened to it. Yes, I support our troops and hope they get home safe and soon - but I do not support Junior Bush and his arrogance. This book takes more than a few shots at Clinton too so it's not just a republican bashing ... it's funny, smart and makes you think. Draw your own conclusions!

Summary: The Right Wing Extremists are Squirming!
Review: It's always a delight to see America's right wing extremists squirm when they are exposed as the morally bankrupt threat to America that they have become. Three cheers for Michael Moore!

Summary: You have the right of reply
Review: How wonderful that America is still a country where people like Michael Moore can openly ridicule the administration and live to tell the tale. How wonderful that America is still a country where Amazon can provide a forum for people like us to exchange our views on Moore's work from one side of the world to the other. I don't know if Moore is right or wrong on every claim he makes. I'm not yet in a position to judge all the facts. But I know this: I will NEVER be in such a position unless people like Moore are allowed to write and distribute this type of book. You disagree with him? That's great. Write your own book. Write a pro-Republican, pro-Bush volume laying out your evidence against every claim Moore makes. Don't just demand his book be banned, or ridicule him for being fat or white or supposedly "unpatriotic". Show YOUR OWN patriotism! Step up to the plate. Shout back. That's what free speech is all about. Use those inalienable rights you claim to hold so dear, and get writing. I'm sure you won't have any trouble getting published.

Summary: More lies from the mind of Michael
Review: ... Michael's claim that America funded Al-Qaeda terrorist in Afghanistan. Anyone who takes the time to research will find this to be a lie. The fact is America gave humanitarian aid to the United Nations for Afghanistan. It was the United Nations who distributed it incorrectly. ...

Summary: Falsehood, hot air, and bile - typical Liberal bilge
Review: In addition to the regular bile and juvenile blabber, this book is full of intentional faslehood.

In his book, he states that five-sixths of the U.S. defense budget in 2001 went toward the construction of a single type of plane and that two-thirds of the $190 million that President Bush raised in his 2000 campaign came from just over 700 individuals, a preposterous assertion given that the limit for individual contributions at the time was $1,000.

When CNN's Lou Dobbs asked Mr. Moore about his inaccuracies, he shrugged off the question. "You know, look, this is a book of political humor. So, I mean, I don't respond to that sort of stuff, you know," he said.

"Glaring inaccuracies?" Mr. Dobbs said.

"No, I don't. Why should I? How can there be inaccuracy in comedy?"

In other words - the only way to make his point is to lie.

What more do you need?

Summary: "Stupid White Men...", a M. Moore self portrait
Review: Moore's book is well-written, but lacks any credibility. Without the ingredient of (at least somewhat) objective thought, a non-fiction book as his must be read as a fictional rant. Moore's opinions are based on hate and political "bigotry" and his selective tirades erode any true intellectual thought. Nevertheless, I'm glad to have read it -- at least now I know how bad the sickness of a small minority of Americans can be.

Summary: Good, buy this book!
Review: Michael Moore is a master at pointing out the moral injustices of today's society. He gnaws away at the corrupted fabric of our society and plays on the conscience of the reader with his brilliant satire and humorous observations of the enforced dogma of society.
The book is well researched and Moore presents some 'furious' views on the American presidency, black oppression and the general culture and corruption in America. Moore even attempts to help other nations, such as Northern Ireland and Israel with some simple plans which are well worth a read.
Moore appeals to a wide audience with his often 'abbreviated speech' leading up to serious moral issues that the world faces, and with the war with Iraq- 'Stupid White Men' is well worth a read.

Summary: Stupid Whining Man
Review: Moore's unintelligent rant shows he can't accept the reality of the world around him, so he hides in a cloud of leftist propaganda screeching about the sins of American capitalism.
This book was a dissapointment. I didn't expect a thoughtful discourse, but I hoped it would at least be entertaining. Moore failed on all counts.

Summary: Spare yourself the agony
Review: I tried listening to the audio CD version of this book. Maybe Michael Moore's vitrolic rants are a good read but after just 2 hours I was sick of listening to it. Its just not funny, not interesting, and just plain irritating in the audio format.

Summary: zero is what it deserves
Review: I found the book hard to read.
his style isvery sloppy, like his unkempt person.
I found him to be very rambling on without ever ending in long useless and sometimes ungrammatic sentences that never end and are full of duplicated redundancy i don't like the book.
