Rating: Summary: Great!!! Review: This was trully a fun and whimsical read. it kept me smiling and laughing the whole time. Just a great read that i would recomment to everyone. P.S. it was kind of fun to figure out what some of the words mean since they mean different things in england than they do here.
Rating: Summary: Better Than a Day at the Mall! Review: Rebecca Bloomwood, a financial journalist for Successful Savings, is ironically, up to her eyeballs in debt. She enjoys frivolous spending and tossing her bills into construction site dumpsters. Realizing she has a spending problem, she holes herself away at her parent's house, trying to escape from the grasp of the bill collectors. While there she finds her financial expertise has backfired. When asked for her 'professional opinion?, Rebecca accidentally steered her neighbors into a costly situation. Trying to make amends for her misguidance, she throws herself into writing a front page story exposing the wrongdoings of a corporate giant, which misled many customers and cost them large sums of money. Her story created such a stir that it landed her on a popular morning television talk show. This gets her to her television debut that she had always fantasized about. This move proves to be the catalyst for some very interesting events.
Anybody who enjoys shopping will love this book. It's easy to comiserate with Becky Bloomwood and it is also easy to laugh at her because she gets herself into some interesting situations. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and did not want to put it down. This charming novel will keep you laughing and looking forward to reading the sequels.
