Rating: Summary: Hilariously funny Review: At first I was wondering if I could like Becky Bloomwood because she was a bit materialistic, but then she won me over. The scenes in this book were hilarious and the characters were well-developed. Foreshadowing and appropriate climactic moments were strategically placed to make a very interesting read. I couldn't put this book down and finished it in one weekend.Definitely recommended.

Rating: Summary: shopaholics!! Review: This is the kind of book a girl like me can relate to, if your a shop-a-holic you'll love this book! It's about a girl that loves shopping but can't keep up with the bills. She decides to cut back--that doesnt work, then tries making more money--again does not work. But in the end its a hollywood ending!
Rating: Summary: Amazing Book! Review: I absolutely love this book! I read it in one day because I just couldn't stand to put it down. The author uses subtle wit to make the story fast paced and fun. I'm in the middle of the sequel Shopaholic takes Manhattan which is also amazing, and has the same page turning flow.
Rating: Summary: Enjoyable Review: If you want some easy, truly enjoyable reading, this book is something for you. The heroine, Rebecca Bloomwood is a shopaholic, and her main problem in life is how to pay her cradit card bill. Or, no, may be this is not actually a problem; letters from the bank can easily get lost, phonecalls from the bank can be denied because you are too ill to speak to them, and of course next month you will be able to pay, when you win the top prize in the national lottery. Rebecca is another female, single Londongirl, following in the line of so many others, starting with Bridget Jones. And the story about Rebecca is so funny written, once you start the book you want to read non stop untill the end. Will she be able to pay her debt, will she CB (Cut Back) or will she MMM (Make More Money) The most enjoyable side of the book is that it spotlights so many of today's shopping habits, where the only comfort is to buy oneself a little something. And of course shopping is the meaning of life, well, at least looking at prizetags is. What's the point in visiting a museum, even the famous V&A, where the displayed items have no prizetags? Britt Arnhild Lindland
Rating: Summary: Really -- 3.5 stars. I used to be her . . . . Review: If I had read this book 10 years ago, I'd be screaming that someone tapped into my brain and wrote a book about me! The main character was pretty flaky and couldn't get a handle on her credit card bills -- even though she was a supposed expert on finance. I laughed because I used to dread the mail from the Credit Card companies. I never wrote letters back though, I would just not pick up the mail. I gave this book a 3.5 stars just because it falls along the "English Girl books" line. It's no Bridget Jones (with Bridget being a 5)-- but it's good and a very enjoyable read. You chuckle along with her escapades and faux pas. I couldn't put it down either. Enjoy!
Rating: Summary: WONDERFUL READ!!! Review: I loved this book. It was a good read and it was light hearted and funny. I can't wait to read the next one!!
Rating: Summary: great Review: I borrowed this book from a friend not sure if i would like it (i prefer children's/middle school books) and i loved it. Very funny. It did a great job at getting inside the mind of the character. Personally, i didn't like her much...very materialistic and stupid. It kind of reminded me of Legally Blond and how the character just sort of fell into a great thing (job). I read the book in 2 days. Reads very well. And there were a few British references that confused me at first (like being pissed. It apperared that meant buzzed and not mad).
