Review: This book was ok..but kind of boring. It wasn't all that I thought it would be. I liked the beginning and all of the scientific stuff. However, I found the running around fighting knights deal boring and redundant..and unfortunately, that was the majority of the book.

Summary: My advice on Timeline
Review: I advise anyone who likes science fiction and history to read this book. I never put the book down, except for at school. I think it described the area of Dordogne very well, after seeing a TV show on it. The book has a very magnificant author. I loved this book.

Summary: Timeline-Read it in No Time!
Review: I started reading Timeline Friday evening, stayed up until 4:00 a.m., quickly went through my Saturday chores so that I could immediately get back into the journey Timeline had taken me on! I stayed home Saturday night literally going through every event in the story, as if I were a character, and did not leave this house until I had completed the book and truly was sad to see it end! I was exhausted at the end, feeling like I was a part of this story. On Sunday, I met with friends and discussed this high energy, mix of history, and adventure story and we cast the roles for a hopefully up coming movie! This was a fabulous book. I wanted more!

Review: A combination of imaginable theory and historical records is never easier. However, made such an product recreational and educational is much more difficult. I think the author did a quite satisfactory job that only a few could accomplish. Do you notice any explanation how a historical time were designated? I didn't find any of it. Another interesting thinking is that do you ever wonder what "historical research" Marek would do in fourteen century England or France, and if so, how? Due to his very unique position and situation in "history", he may suffer a lots if he want continuing his career as a historical scholar.

Review: I have read all of Michael Crichton's books and I must say, in my opinion, this is the best! I read the book in one snowy night whenthe power was off, by flashlight, that is how good it is! The characters take on a life of their own, I cried at the end, I am not ashamed to say. This would make a great movie (hint, hint) Buy this book, you won't be sorry!

Summary: Crichton makes an exciting return.
Review: I started this book and was not very impressed with the first 50 pages, but then I got into the rest of it and WOW was I impressed! Crichton takes us back to the excitement of 'Jurassic Park' and 'Sphere' and makes it all even better. I was getting impatient waiting for a followup to Crichton's last novel, but it was all worth the wait. The action is great, the story is even better, and the end pulls it all together and makes for a great book.

Review: I have enjoyed many of his previous books. This one has a compelling plot, time-travel, quantum mechanics, 13th century France. But Crichton delivers only the bare bones of a novel, it is more a screen-play for an action-adventure flick starring Leonardo. Very unsatisying.

Review: A terrific book that I hope will becomes a movie. Some of the quantum theory was a bit complex, duh, but interesting. I found the book exciting and hard to put down. The ending was quite a surprise. I recommend this one.
