Rating: Summary: The one to read Review: If you ever thought about reading a novel written by Stuart Woods and could only pick one, this is it. This was a great suspenseful, romantic and exciting book to read. The story is wonderfully crafted and I had a hard time putting it down. It is about Liz Barwick who has run away from an abusive marriage to a football star Bake Ramsey and is hiding for fear that he is coming after her to kill her. This is an amazing book and I would recommend it to anyone.
Rating: Summary: Suspense at its BEST! Review: In my opinion, still Stuart Woods' best work! Palindrome is an edge-of-your-seat, stay-up-till-4 a.m.-to-finish book. Woods does an excellent job of integrating the characters and plot with the physical setting to make a truly unique story. In fact, it is one of the most original suspense stories I have ever read. There are absolutely no lulls in this story. You will find yourself mezmerized from page one and unable to look away until you reach the conclusion. This book is much better than his newer releases (with the exception of Orchid Beach) Other great Stuart Woods works: Deep Lie, New York Dead, Chiefs, and Orchid Beach.

Rating: Summary: A Good Book Review: In Palindrome, Liz Barwick is married to a professional football player, named Bake Ramsey, who has beaten her for years. After an awful beating that sends Liz to the emergency room, she decides to leave her husband. She tries to find a place where Bake will never be able to find her, but after several gruesome murders, he is able to track her down.Palindrome is an excellent piece of escape fiction by Stuart Woods. This exciting novel pulls the reader in with a fast-paced story that includes murder, mystery, and love. Stuart Woods provides the reader with sufficient information to keep the story interesting while still leaving the reader wanting to know more. This novel does not contain any profound thoughts on life's problems, but if you are looking for an exciting story, this is a good book to read.
Rating: Summary: Good Read Review: It had a few slow spots, but all-in-all it was very entertaining. There are several things going on at one time, such as the "crazy ex" and a mystery surrounding the twins that caught me off guard. I will definitely try other books by this author.
Rating: Summary: Good book with a twist Review: Liz, a photographer, leaves what apparently was an abusive marriage and disappears to start a new life. Luckily she has a good divorce attorney who gets more from her husband in the divorce settlement than she???d expected. With her new found freedom, she heads off to an island where she meets some interesting people who help her settle comfortably into her new life. She happens to meet a man that she???s very attracted to. Lucky for her, the feeling is mutual even if he appears to be a little odd. Life seems sweet until the one-by-one, the people she left behind in her old life start turning up dead. After the first death, she suspects her husband, but she???s got to convince the police that he???s doing the murders. Not only that, she begins to fear for her life. While struggling with these new-found fears, she realizes that her new man friend is a little ???different.??? She can???t figure him out, but she knows that she???s definitely attracted to him and she wants to hang in there with him. At the same time, the detective she???d talked to about her husband is beginning to believe that just maybe, she???s right. He begins an investigation into her ex-husband that could cost him his life. This was a pretty good book. The story starts off with enough drama to grab your attention, and for the most part, continues on in that same vein. There???s always something going on ??? whether it???s the threat of a murder, the discovery of a mystery that needs to be solved, or just the unfolding events of new relationships ??? either way, the book has something to hold your interest. The detective work is pretty good and interesting as well. While I didn???t totally buy-in to the motives for ALL of the killings, I still found the story to be a worthwhile read. If you want suspense, drama, murder and some good detective work, you???ll find it all here. You'll also find a surprise at the end.

Rating: Summary: Mystery Review: Palindrome is a masterful novel that no reader will soon forget. Palindrome is an excellent piece of escape fiction by Stuart Woods. This exciting novel pulls the reader in with a fast-paced story that includes murder, mystery, and love. Stuart Woods provides the reader with sufficient information to keep the story interesting while still leaving the reader wanting to know more. He also does an excellent job of integrating the characters and plot with the physical setting to make a truly unique story. The setting for this book is a small island off the coast of Georgia. This is where our main character Liz Barwick has escaped from her potentially dangerous husband, pro football player Bake Ramsey. After Liz has settled down in her newborn house on Cumberland Island, her memories begin to fade, but soon two murders of her close friends send Liz into a panic, and she feels her husband is trying to find her. Soon she discovers that there is no place to hide, not even on an isolated island. This book is full of expense and action, but does not suppress a hard reading level or any deep thought. I recommend this book to the exuberant reader, one that is searching for apprehension.

Rating: Summary: The best that the author has written to date, no exceptions! Review: The is the type of book that you cannot recommend enough to your friends! All if my friends have copies of the book and I've read it three times myself. This is the bery best of Stuart Woods. One of, if not the best i've ever read. Excellant plot and the hunt is fantastic. The culmination of events is very smooth and not a bumpy transition as with other books. I only wish there is a sequel or a movie made for the big screen!
