Summary: An Excellent Bargain
Review: It has a handy bag which contains all of the 64 audio CDs. The black bag protects the CDs very well. You can take it with you around easily. Besides, the music is relaxing. The narrators do a good job. To sum up, NIV Audio Bible Dramatized CD is useful and convenient.

Summary: I love the NIV bible on CD!
Review: It is so wonderful having the dramatized bible on CD. My goal has always been to get through the whole bible. However, I usually failed at my attempts because I became bored, and therefore did not get a lot of meaning out of it. With this it's different because the Word read aloud with emotion and background music is more impactful. I get so much more out of it this way. In fact, I have covered over half of the old testament in a month. Wow!

Summary: An Irish Perspective
Review: The Bible stories are well narrated and the character voices are excellent. Goliath is especially convincing and God's voice is not overdramatised by excessive reverb. Though the NIV is as the name suggests a translation in International English, the pronunciations here are nauseatingly regional. There is no such word as "urbal" in IE and King David never confronted the "Flisteens". Moreover, large figures are read in a very confusing format. For example, Numbers 1:46 sounds more like a free-phone telephone number than a population count (600-3000-500-50). Otherwise great!

Review: The NIV Cd's are enjoyable listening and good recording quality. There are several voices both male and female all dramatized in good taste. The only issue I have is that the translation is not the "pure word" 1611 KJV, however, the Holy Bible is God's word even though modern translations have flaws. The Holy Spirit will reveal to the believer the truth.Amen

Review: This audio Bible is a high quality recording. The readers are easy to listen to, and are not overly dramatic. Overall this is a very well done audio book and is great to listen to while commuting. This would also be a nice gift for persons with poor vision who are not able to read the Bible.

Review: This audio bible is absolutely wonderful. I received this as a Christmas gift. I am now using this gift for bible study in a group setting. It has been such a blessing to me and to others.

Summary: BUY IT AND LIVE IT!
Review: This is a fantastic audio bible. Each character has a different voice, making it easy to follow. The soundtrack is just subtle enough to be enjoyable, but not overpowering. I'm not even a regular reader of the NIV version, as I prefer NAS, but I still recommend this bible.
