Rating: Summary: Prove Him Wrong ... If You Can Review: If you have only had public school history classes you should read this book. Sean makes no apologies for his conservative beliefs nor does he try to hide his biases. He does however site sources, provides footnotes, and gives reasons for his beliefs. I find his book very timely since the 9/11 commission is making the case for pre-emptive action against foreign enemies while Democrats attack Bush for doing that in Iraq. Sean shows that in the past there were evil dictators who beguiled their people and caused the slaughter of millions. He makes the case for taking the fight to the terrorists instead of waiting for them to gain strength and bring the fight to the streets of the US. This is a must read in these changing times were terrorists are gunning for the US and any Western nation who dares make a stand.
Rating: Summary: Leftist reviews Review: (...) Isn't it odd that the 9-11 commission is hearing exactly what Sean said about the budget, the manpower, and the emasculation of the CIA and FBI. This goes all the way back to Jimmy Carter, as I remember. This book is a must-read. What Hannity says about the CIA and FBI is as close to the truth as you can get. For many years before the Bush administration, our Congress and Administration hacked those agencies to pieces, and now those Leftist commissioners on the 9-11 commission are trying to blame it on Bush. Why aren't John Kerry and Daniel Patrick Moynihan being interviewed. Read the book and you will understand why I ask that.
Rating: Summary: Great Information Review: I appreciated all the background information and just the common sense of the whole thing. It was a great read. We need more people to calm down and look at the realities in the world today and then make better choices. My husband read it immediately after me. He also liked it very much. All our family has discussed it at length and agree with Sean's conclusions.
Rating: Summary: Logic is for dummies Review: I read this book to the best of my ability. I found myself unable to disagree with his sound logic and factual arguments. Im frustrated as a koolaid drinking liberal that my mind agrees but my emotions disagree with his message. It's not about if the message is true, its about what Mr. Clinton tells me to feal. I've invested too much emotionally in the democratic party to let a silly thing like logic and facts swade my opinions!!! Republicans may be smarter than democrats, but we have the art of deception and theatrics on our side!!
Rating: Summary: More logic than any Bush Hater could handle! Review: I will admit, I am a fan of Seans radio and television show. I read his first book and enjoyed that too! OK.. so now you know my politics. But as a book, he has written a cogent, straightforward reponse to the gathering threat from the left in our country. We are under attack. I am not referring to our values or culture. I am talking about from people in this world what want nothing more than for all Americans (...). These are scary times we are living in, and we should not allow these lillie-livered, kool-aid drinking, socialistic, nutcases control the debate. The current 9/11 commission is proof enough that to Democrats, even our national security is disposable for power. We must stop them before our cities all simutaneously explode from dirty bombs stragetically placed while we all have our thumbs in our "ears" trying to find blame for 9-11. Democrats (...) should read this book and at least be honest with themselves that they are on the wrong side of history... once again.
Rating: Summary: Great Book. Review: First of all i would like to say that not only is this a very well written book, it is very informative. To the people (or should i say, Liberals) who refuted the message of this book, answer this question, can you name anything in the book that is factual in any shape or form? I didnt think so. For those people looking at a bipartisan look at the issues that plauge us today such as evil and terrorism, read this book. Those who are looking for a poorly written, uninformative book, im sorry but you will be extremely dissapointed. For everyone else, I strongly reccomed this book and hold it in the highest regards.
Rating: Summary: Deliver Us from Evil: Defeating Terrorism, Despotism, and Li Review: This is an excellent, well written book. As a moderate/conservative, I could not agree more with Mr. Hannity. If you open your mind and read the book, you will come away with a richer view of how evil is affecting the world in which we live, and how politicians sell their souls to win elections. I am a Texan who appreciates President Bush for his integrity and dedication to protecting us. You will enforce your opinion, if you agree with Mr. Hannity already, and maybe you will change your opinion, if you don't. At any rate, it is a great, refreshing read.
Rating: Summary: Perfection! Review: Hannity is a hero in the media. He puts all the facts out for you to take or not. I recommend this book to anybody with an open mind. The liberals hate it due to the fact Hannity shows how they have aligned with the terrorists. It is true and said how our Americans could align with terrorists and fell patriotic. (...)
Rating: Summary: A wake-up call Review: Beware those who review this book negatively; most never read it. Conservatives like Sean Hannity who stand up and tell it like they see it get attacked because, God forbid, they think they know what's best. Well for years liberals have been telling us that they know better than everyday Americans. That's what big government is all about. Sean doesn't say he's right and he knows better than everyone else, he's saying he believes he knows what the right path for this country is and how every American should be informed and empowered to make their own decisions. Don't attack without the facts. And Sean definitely has his facts down; check out the huge reference section at the end of the book.
Rating: Summary: A Must Read Review: No matter where you stand politically, this book is a must read before going to the polls next November. It will infuriate you or open your eyes, but will not leave you indifferent. Mr. Hannity documents all of his points very well. It is a well thoughout and written book.
