Summary: Regarding "Defamatory" review
Review: Who better to know about the "hard core hard working levelminded average american in this country" than someone from Beverly Hills.

Great Book! Keep up the good work, Sean. We'll get this country "Hannitized" yet!

Summary: Thanks, Sean, for restoring conservatism and values!!
Review: Great book, great radio host, great show! Sean is a true American and a great speaker of the truth every day on the radio and in his books!
A very personable and interesting person, too. Thank you, Sean, for instilling morals and values in a country seemingly going wrong fast. Keep up the great work and I look forward to future books!

Summary: Sean's view of history avoids truth
Review: I'll give this to hannity. He's entertaining. The steady stream of lies pouring out from the pages of this book are incredible. And his monkey readers lap it up. Amazing!

9/11 equals Clinton's fault in Sean's eye, and the blind eyes of Hannity fans. Equally amazing.

well, clinton and gore have agreed to meet with the 9/11 panel. Bush will give the leading R and D on the panel one hour, and it's not in public. Connie Rice might have to be subpeoned to appear. I wonder why?

perhaps Sean forgot about the numerous Republicans who voted against bossting anti-terrorist efforts of Clinton in the 90s, too. Am i making this up? No look it up. Clinton spent more money and time fighting terrorism than any president in history. And the republicans fought him every step of the way.

This is all public record and easily researched fact. i suggest Hannity fans turn off Fox and turn down Limbaugh, try to get Clinton's member out of your mind for one second, and do a little web surfing to sites and news sources other than Newsmax.

pathetic. peope like Hannity distort history for their own political gain. And suckers lap it up. Just pathetic.

Summary: Cherry Picking History for Fun and Profit
Review: 1. Republican, Eisenhower, signed a peace accord to end the Korean war, many historians believe, to save his only child, an officer serving in North Korea.
2. Ronald Reagan secretly and illegally traded arms with Iranian terrorists to release American hostages in the Iran-Contra scandal
3. Republican, Richard Nixon, pulled US troops out of Vietnam and signed the Paris peace accord in 1973
4. Bush I failed to remove Saddam Hussein from power after the 1st Gulf War
5. Bush II continues to coddle Saudi Arabia, the leading financier of terrorism in the world.

I have just cherry-picked history to make exactly the opposite case of Sean Hannity; that Republicans have a tradition of appeasement to terrorists and rogue states and lack the moral clarity to defeat evil. Many reviewers cite Hannity as providing irrefutable factual evidence to support his case. Hannity's book is broadly accurate, but any argument made by blatantly cherry-picking history is worthless. By cherry picking events, you can make the case for almost anything. This is the same technique used by those who author UFO books. Hannity's book is a lowest common denominator political screed that relies as much on the ignorace of its intended auidence as the history it selectively uses.

Summary: sad book, sad times
Review: A friend of mine, an American living in Paris, told me that some people in her office were aware of this book and felt that Sean Hannity was a typical American". This makes me sad and angry, but mostly just disgusts me because I know that those French people have, for a portion of our populace anyway, the "correct " impression.
Sean Hannity's books sell well and his FOX show does well because a lot of Americans want to hear what he says. One of the best things about America is the fact that people like Hannity are free to express their "Opinions". But it is also my right to say the truth: this book is nothing but hate filled garbage.
If you buy books like this, and really believe that they express the "truth", please go back to school. The first time didn't "take". I just thank God that I have never met any of the people he describes as "liberals'.

Summary: 3 hours a day is all he asks!
Review: Unfortunately I don't have cable so I can't see "Hannity & Colmes" in the evening but thankfully his radio show just started to air here in my hometown and I am already a fan! I can't believe we've been missing out over here in Pittsburgh! I really liked "Let Freedom Ring" (The title is actually taken from Martina McBride's hit "Independence Day" played at the beginning of every hour on his radio show) and when I heard he had a new book coming out I read it right away! I wasn't sure if it wo uld be as good as "Let Freedom Ring" but it ended up being just as good. The pattern in this book focuses on the evils in this world and how modern day liberals in history have ignored (some argue purposely) the threats facing our nation, from the cold war to the current war on terrorism (see also Ann Coulter's book "Treason"). It is very well written and is written in a way that is not overly sarcastic and/or hateful. He can argue with liberals well and not buckle under the pressue of name-calling like so many conservatives in Congress and Senate do and I admire him for that. I used to be a Conservative Liberal but I feared my party was going too far to the left because people yelled at me whenever I said I supported the president. Anyways, "Deliver Us From Evil" is a great book and if you enjoyed "Let Freedom Ring" then you'll enjoy this one just as much.

Summary: Perhaps a constructive review
Review: Perhaps those that write bashing reviews could come up with some actual criticism. All the bashers are liberals that are upset with the positive direction the county is headed. If more Americans were like Shawn Hannity our country would be much better off. I am all for criticism, however most of it is unfounded. Many of the negative reviews have nothing to say about the actual book itself. If you want to express your political affiliation you should go out and vote, not review a book on Amazon.

Finally, I found this book to be great. It seems to beat you over the head at times by repeating a point over and over again, but the point is usually a good one.

If you enjoyed any of his other books you will enjoy this one as much or more.
