Rating: Summary: True Truth! A must read before Nov 2004 Review: Brilliant Book! Right on Target! The American people need to wake up and realize that we are living in a different world. In his book, "Deliver Us from Evil, Defeating Terrorism, Despotism, and Liberalism," Sean is trying hard to educate us and if we stand by and do not hold true to what this GREAT country has stood for during all these years then we all will be living in an America that is no longer free. Every American needs to read this book and understand the truths that Sean is trying to get across to us all. Evil exists and it is REAL. We Americans live a cushy life and oh how fast we forget the bad and the ugly. Read Sean's book and wake up before the bad and ugly are part of our everyday existence. From his days on radio in Huntsville, AL, to Fox News, to a national radio program, and now such GREAT BOOKS! Thanks Sean for running the race. Continue to talk, to write books and educate this teetering nation. This book makes a GREAT GIFT for your friends, family, and neighbors, especially if they need to be educated about what is happening right before their very eyes. Thanks Sean! BB in Nashville, TN
Rating: Summary: Sean rocks so shut your mouth Review: I just finished reading Sean's book and have not one negative thing to say regarding it. The book is well written and sources are well documented to a nonnegotiable state. Reading the reviews on this book are sad though and leave a sour taste in my mouth. I'm a 24 yr old that is currently employed full time with a National Guard/State funded program for 16-18 yr old at-risk youth. It's sad to see adults "flame" a book online and not state any facts regarding the actual book. I read through this list of endless stones being thrown at Sean with no facts at all! People just name call him and say the book is bad. Anyone with common sense can read these and see that these individuals haven't read the book. These reviews are nothing more then unjustified rants of the "i'm rubber, you're glue" era. Other reviewers say something about Republicans being rich, but I only make 30k a year. This book has nothing to do with the amount of money people make. Screw money, money means crap to me. Money has nothing to do with this book or the words within. This book was written supporting President Bush's administration for the War on Terror and sited historical similarities backin up this opinion. Health care has nothing to do with this, jobs overseas has nothing to do with this. Stick to the issue of the book. To stray from topic only further proves that you haven't read the book and thank God that your screename is what looks foolish and not your face in the public when you further ignore a war that will prevent us from having health care and will prevent us from having jobs period. The enemy gives less then a damn about the environment when it comes to their terror tactics aimed at my military brethern and the innocent civilians that go about their daily lives, living the freedom given to them by their forefathers. Mega dittos Sean and keep rockin, bro.
Rating: Summary: About what I expected Review: First off, Sean seems to be a genuinely nice guy, and I don't begrudge him his success ar all. As a political writer, though, he swallows whatever bilge the Republican party says hook, line, and sinker. If George Bush (either one) and Bill Clinton took exactly the same action, he would praise Bush and criticize Clinton. If a president claims that invading a country that had nothing to do with 9/11 is somehow fighting terrotism, Hannity is there mindlessly cheering him on. As a conservative pundit, he lacks the intelligence of George Will or Thomas Sowell, the humor of Rush Limbaugh, the honest willingness to question his own party of Par Buchanan, or even the vemom of Ann Coulter. Hannity trying to write about politics is like a monkey trying to play Chopin on the piano.
Rating: Summary: Waste of Time Review: Just finished slogging through this simplistic piece of trash. Makes me ashamed that I actually wasted valuable hours of my life (not to mention a few bucks). Anyway, it confirms that Hannity is as ignorant as the title of this latest effort of his to profit by division. Realize that my comments will mean nothing to his true believers and that he has convinced them (almost every night) that all negative comments on Amazon are plants by evil liberals. What a shame that characters like this have deceived so many.
Rating: Summary: A breath of fresh air - it's called the truth Review: I read this book all the way to the end non-stop..twice. I am a veteran of both Vietnam and the Gulf War and know Sean hit the truth. Either we defend ourselves against evil or we die by it. As it has been said all it takes for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing. Don't be among those that do nothing...read the book and learn.
Rating: Summary: Great insight Review: Writes the truth on the war on terror. Nothing will appease the Muslim thinking. We must fight fire with fire.
Rating: Summary: Well informed American. Review: I bought the book and could not put it down, although I share both parties views...Yes this is possible...... Sean is a man I trust, and admire his opinion, if I agree or not. He has always respected other opinions and does his part to represent his party and ideas as any true American should. Read the book then read others too, the best Amercican is an informed one, but a true American makes his own decisions.
Rating: Summary: Most thought provoking book of our time Review: This book was so thought provoking I could not put it down. Sean Hannity's book provides historical perspective then uses logic and fact to make its point. This book is a rare gem. Unbelievable!
Rating: Summary: This should be required reading for every student Review: It is simply amazing the information Sean Hannity provides in this book. Many people who are fans of Hannity and Colmes or The Sean Hannity Radio Program will buy this book, but for those of us who don't know Sean Hannity very well, this was an AWESOME READ!!!Buy the book. Read it. Re-read it. All I can say is Wow! What an experience!!!
Rating: Summary: Crucial Reading-- Review: My concern is that Americans so consisitenly bend over backwards to be non-judgemental (raised as they have been to be policically correct in all matters) that sometimes they never take a stand in crucial matters. They end up valuing the appearance of open-mindedness over common sense. Sean Hannity cuts through the fog and delivers with clarity the issues that should concern us and tells us how to overcome the Orwellian left-think that is crippling the will of America.
