Summary: Read Before you Judge
Review: It is my view that the early reviews of this book must have been written by folks who didn't read it. I agree there is a bias but one knows that going in. It would be curious to know what some of the cantacorous folks took issues with.

Summary: Get Real
Review: I'm really tired of defending my political beliefs to my liberal friends each time one of these so called conservative pundits publishes another inane screed like this. This book is so bad it doesn't pass the laugh test. It is *patriotic* to debate foreign policy, especially when we have troops on the ground whose very lives depend on a sound policy where all prespectives are considered. This book goes down same laughable illogical lines as Ann Coulter's debunked "Treason". To equate dissent with treason, or saying it aids terrorists, or that it's "evil", or dividing America is just silly on its face! It appauls me that anyone would concur with such patently stupid assertions. A quick example:

A. "Nearly three years have passed since that tragic day in September...At first, the nation rallied behind its leader. But by the time the confrontation with Iraq presented itself, our courage and moral certainty seemed to fade in the face of partisan bickering and posturing. Now the... Democratic Party are trying to use the demanding aftermath of the war to exploit our national cause for their own political advantage. How could we allow ourselves to forget so soon?"
>Yes, all Americans rallied behind our leader after 9/11. We are unified as a nation *STILL* regarding the erradication of Al Quida on both the the right and the left.

B."...by the time the confrontation with Iraq presented itself, our courage and moral certainty seemed to fade"
> This is because, the game changed when the president vastly broadened the war on terror to include Iraq, which was not involved in the 9/11 attack. A "preemptive strategy" is a significant, historic paradigm shift in the justification to wage war. It's sound, and I happen to agree with it, but dissenting opinions are a healthy, expected, indeed a crucial part of the process, and one Rebublicans should *encourage* not stifle! To say that dissenters lack "moral courage" or "certainty", and minimize important foreign policy discussion as "partisan bickering" is, again, ridiculas on its face. It's certainly not "treason" or "evil" nor does it "aid terrorists".
Absurd!

C. "...liberals inexplicably doubt that "absolute evil truly exists," and instead foolishly cling to the idea that the world's problems might arise from social, psychological and cultural differences or from economic inequality."
>Okay... did Hannity conduct a survey on this? Of 1000 liberals surveyed, 69% claimed "evil does not exist". Again, a laughable assertion. If a country or terrorist group poses a threat to US interests, and a liberal says, "it's due to cultural differences" and a republican says, "it's because they're evil" -doesn't matter! Both would agree that the terrorist group or country "is a threat" but may have different perspective regarding motive. The key question *TO DEBATE* is the sensible course of action concerning said threat.

Do you see how simplistic and silly this is? If you're interested in REAL political discussion with a conservative perspective - one that isn't (frankly) written to the lowest common denominator, I suggest you subscribe to The Weekly Standard and pass on this type of exploitive mass market garbage.

Summary: OUTSTANDING BOOK!
Review: This is a must read. The truth being told in this book is shocking. If this doesn't open the eyes of the lost, the liberal, then their stiched shut forever.

Stong work Hannity!

Summary: Liberals, READ THE BOOK BEFORE REVIEWING!
Review: If you are a Liberal and have read the book, then you can hate it but shut up if you don't have the courage to read all of it. I have finished about 50% of the book and so far it is a great read. Facts all over the place. Of course Liberals don't like facts they like feelings so this may hurt their sensibilities a bit. Bring it on Sean!!!

Summary: Thank God people like Sean Hannity are out there..
Review: Just finished the book and I must say.. In these troubled times when our country is under attack we have to thank God we have someone like George Bush in office and people like Sean Hannity to remind us what is really at stake here and why it would be bad for America if liberals were to regain power in this country.
Sean goes into detail talking about the issues of our times and backs up his sometimes strong opinions with solid facts and leaves it up to the reader to decide if they agree or not. The book flows very smooth and is definatly worth reading..
You won't be disappointed with this, whether u like the guy or not he speaks from the heart and is a real American hero..

Summary: Hard to give it a star.
Review: I thought this book would be better than the last. However, just more of the same old bashing from the right. Americans are to just to intelligent to really take in this type false infomation from what sources i have no idea. Take this with a grain of salt.

Summary: essential reading for america
Review: I'm NOT a conservative (well not yet), listening to Hannity (the only person I can tolerate for more than 3 minutes) on the radio has though caused me to rethink my politics and now I've swung wildly to the right and have become a moderate. Reading this book, is equally enlightening, as much about myself and how I have choosen my beliefs. Questioning and opening to rethinking America direction is valuable whether or not you agree with the author. But you can't deny the depth of his thinking. I may even vote for Bush.

Really worth the read.

Summary: Liberals hate this book!
Review: They really get hit hard, and exposed by this great author.

Summary: Do You! Remember?
Review: At the outset, I must admit that, so far I've only skim-read Sean Hannity's new book. A thorough reading comes later. He has, at the least, written a controversial, contentious, absorbing book. Conservatives will love it; liberals will hate it (for the most part).

Notwithstanding the political overtones throughout the book, there is one point Hannity makes over and over again and again: that evil DOES exist in the world. Always has, always will--unless, of course, you believe in that oft-dreamed-of land called Utopia.

If anyone doubts that evil has, and does, exist in the world I would pose the following question: How many of you remember the words of--at the time--a world class statesman, Neville Chanberlain, British Prime Minister, who in 1938 or 1939 made that most infamously fatuous boast that his accommodation with "Herr Hitler" would bring "peace in our time"? I remember it, though only vaguely , for I was at the time a school boy, who happened to take an interest in reading the newspapers of the day. What ensued from Mr. Chanberlain's statement was, shortly thereafter, the onset of the most gruesome and hideous episode in the history of mankind: World War II. More than 12 million persons were killed worldwide, and more than 6 million of them were the Jews, Poles, Hungarians, Russians, and others PERSONALLY ordered butchered by ADOLF HITLER. Was he evil or just mad. He was, in fact, BOTH!

Now we have another like him, who has murdered, tortured, raped, and enslaved his own people--regardless of their station: Saddam Hussein. Is he evil? For answer, look at the mass graves filled with hundreds and often thousands of dead Iraqis. Or, look at the prisons where he tortured small children--as young as five years old. If he doesn't represent evil, then what does he represent. Or, asked another way, what does it require for you, as an individual, to classify someone as evil?

If Adolf Hitler and Saddam Hussein are not representative of evil, who is?

Sean Hannity has been plain-spoken about the existence of evil in today's world. People who hijack commercial airliners with innocent men, women, and children aboard, and DELIBERATELY fly them into tall buildings filled with other men, women, and children can only be described as evil, for NO ONE does mass murder in this fashion without having the stench of evil embedded within their very souls.

A great book, Sean. Keep socking it to "them"!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: EXCELLENT READ!!!! Must read for this election year!
Review: Sean Hannity returns with a book that is even better than his original. A close look at the world of polotics, from WW2, to the cold war, to the current war on terrorism. If you plan to vote this year, I'd highly recommend this book before any other political literature in your local bookstore's politics section.
