Rating: Summary: A told B and B told C.... Review: This is the best alphabet book ever, no question about it. I have been reading it to my daughter since she was born and now that she is two and half she recites it with me. When she falls down she refers to it has going chicka chicka boom boom. We read this one anywhere from once to several times a day. This book belongs in every child's library but be forwarned. You will never get the chant out of your head. A told b and b told c, oh no hear I go again!

Rating: Summary: Cute ABC book Review: I ordered this for my daughter, who learned the song last year but was starting to forget the words. I was pleased to see that this edition had the song in its entirety (this wasn't clear from the descriptions--there are shortened versions out there..). Charming depiction of the lower case letters climbing a tree followed by the capital letters pulling them one by one out of the debris from their fall. Valuable for working with younger folks on letter recognition (caps vs lower case) and just plain fun for older kids to memorize.
Rating: Summary: Great! Wonderful! Fantastic! Have to have it for infants!! Review: The book has catchy sounds with a great rhythmic pattern that is just fun for parents and kids! And, when it gets stuck in your mind after hours of reciting it, it is much better than "It's a small world after all!" which drives everyone crazy!Ok, so, what's my story??? Our severely handicapped daughter, Rebecca, suffered through hours of arduous therapies, working and struggling to help herself. She started this at only 2 months old and worked very hard at every single session to this day - now 6 years old. Chicka Chicka Boom Boom was one of the books that we read and read and read and read to her during these never ending ordeals to keep her mind sane with her pain and struggles. She still laughs when we recite the words! By the way, Rebecca is doing very well, although she remains severely handicapped. Her very hard work and efforts have brought her to a level no one ever thought possible (you see, she was dead for 35 minutes at birth). She struggles to walk, speak and feed herself everyday. .... And, when you read this book, think about Rebecca and all her friends and say a little prayer for all of them! Thanks!
Rating: Summary: My students love this book! Review: "A told B and B told C, I'll meet you at the top of the coconut tree . . ." My First Grade students absolutely love this book! We are even learning to sign the alphabet to follow along with the songs! It is the top pick in my classroom for Story Time! My students adore this very charming book and I definitely recommend it to everyone!
Rating: Summary: Their favorite book. Review: My 22 month old has demanded we read this book at least once a day for several months now. When my grandchildren, 2 1/2 and 5 1/2, are here we read it over & over. The oldest now has it memorized. The rhythm of the rhyme is fun and they love the bright illustrations. Warning--the repeated readings mean you will memorize it soon as well and it keeps running in your head!
Rating: Summary: Chicka Chicka Boom Boom Review: I love Chicka Chicka Boom Boom. I have ordered a second copy with a cassette tape. I plan to start my school out using the theme Chicka Chicka Boom Boom. It is wonderful for teaching letters to children and can be used in many other activities. The illustrations are beautifully done. The children in my classroom last enjoyed this book and requested it often. It is just a wonderful book.
Rating: Summary: Our toddler's favorite Review: This is a wonderful book. My two and a half year old adores it. He asks for it time and time again. After only a few readings, he was reciting along with me. The bright, colorful illustrations are favorites too.
Rating: Summary: Alphabet fun! Review: This book has been a favorite of my 19-month-old since she was just about a year. It has a lyrical, sing-song quality to the 'story' - about the mischevious little letters who chose to climb the coconut tree - with disasterous consequences! This is a wonderful and fun book to read - excellent for language development.
Rating: Summary: Where's the tape? Review: We love this book! It is read quite often in our home! We have one problem, though. There is a WONDERFUL audio tape that came along with it, and our 21-month old boy just destroyed it! Our six-year old was heart-broken when he saw the stretched out tape on the floor. We can't find the Chicka Chicka Boom Boom tape in any stores anywhere. I have been told the book is out of print. Can anyone tell me where I can find the tape to this book? The Chicka Chicka Boom Boom song is GREAT (and very catchy--I sing it all day long)! Please email us if you know how we can get the audio tape to this fun book!
