Rating: Summary: The Anti-Christ Revealed.... Review: In this one, the Antichrist starts to take over. Immediately, you love to hate this guy. The authors build him up as an aristocratic, well-educated, dignatary, who is so controlling and manipulative, that you would think everyone hates him. On the contrary, however, he is quite the persuader and smooth-talker. A very realistic interpretation of Satan himself. This one leaves your mouth watering for more. I read this book and the next 2 after it all together....it makes for one BIG story.
Rating: Summary: Imagine being left behind and tortured for all eternity Review: Have you ever been put in the position where some person could destroy the world but you don't know who, and yet you must stop him or all of mankind will be destroyed? Could you imagine that the person would take over the world, and he would torture you for all of eternity? Then you find out that it was one of your very good friends and you do not know what to do but you know that you must do something about it? All of these situations occur in the novel Nicolae. The protagonist, called Chloe, has a nice little store in NYC and all of a sudden she hears something like an earthquake but she knows it isn't and now she has to try to get rid of Nicolae before all of those mind boggling things happen. If you ask me, I thought that it was a very good book. This book will keep you awake and you will want to keep reading and never stop. The suspense is so high when the buildings crashed down and there was dust and dirt everywhere and there were screams coming every way Chloe turned. If you ever get a chance to read this awesome book you will like it. The only thing that I did not understand clearly was how some of the people were just disappearing without anything even happening to them. In the book they would tell you that when there was a jumbo jet filled up with people and then in a blink of an eye most of them were gone.
Rating: Summary: Great Christian Fiction. Review: Don't believe the negative reviews you see; most are just wanna-be-writers who are upset at the success of this series. This novel is fantastic. It is the third book in the series and moves along quite well. Nicolae Carpathia is evil personified; the dialogue is all-that-and-a-bag-of-potato-chips; and if you've read this far - why stop now? Click that buy button! You won't be sorry folks! Peace-out
Rating: Summary: Action Packed, A Very Good Read! Review: The Action just doesn't stop. A very good interpretation of the apocalypse. You'll want to keep reading more. One of those cover to cover books. It has a very interesting plot, with lots of religous implications. The characters are well defined, with roles perfect for each one. A very good book indeed.
Rating: Summary: More Sheep Fodder! Review: Why God or Satan would want anything to do with our planet or it's people is beyond me. More Christian (sheep fodder) propaganda masquerading as entertainment to frighten the mental Pygmies into believeing this stuff is true...get a life.
Rating: Summary: Awesome book! Review: Nicolae, by Tim LeHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins, keeps you on the edge of your seat as Buck Williams, Rayford Steele and his daughter, Chloe, are on a mission to win as many souls as they can to Christ before the Second Coming. Not only that, but Rayford and Buck both work directly for Nicolae, the Antichrist foretold in biblical prophecy. Nicolae is the worst person in history to walk on the earth. I recommend this book to everyone. There are so many intense parts, especially about the rescue that Buck attempts. It is written so well that you can picture everything from the beginning to end. I promise this book will not bore you at all. The characters' feelings are described with details so that you feel like you know them personally.
Rating: Summary: Read this book!!! Review: This book was amazing! You don't have to be religious to enjoy Tim Lahaye and Jerry Jenkins 3rd book in the Left Behind series. Put together a pilot, a news reporter, and a couple of inter-related people and you have yourself the Tribulation Force. The one thing they all have in common is that they all work under one man. Nicolae Carpathia. The most powerful person in the world after the disappearances and who the Force believes to be the anti christ. They must stay together in order to stay alive and keep a strong faith in God. But one problem. Carpathia doesn't know that they know each other and doesn't know how deep their religion goes. As he slowely destroyes the world with his new laws and economic systems the force fights to save lives, including that of the world renowed scientist Dr. Ben Judah who vanished after his families murders and is being hunted by many islamic martyrs. Tim Lahaye and Jerry Jenkins work together to create an awesome book on religion and the bibles talk of revelations. Both of them really know how to write a book and draw you in! If you had to pick one of the books in the series to read this would be the one! This one has the most drama, adventure, and interesting facts on a common religious belief of the ending of the world.
Rating: Summary: Dragged in Places, But Still a Good Read Review: This third book in the Left Behind Series dragged a bit in places, but that's OK-you can't expect every book in a long series to be equally good ! Part of the reason it draggged is that there was some summarizing of previous books added in for readers who may have picked up this book without seeing the former books. Even so, don't skip this book, because some important things happen, and you need to know those things for the following books. For me, the most interesting thing in this book was Nicolae's ongoing relationship with Hattie, and what happens with that.
Rating: Summary: This book is beyond 5 stars! Review: Nicolae is the edge-of-your-seat thriller that the series has been waiting for. If you thought Left Behind and Tribulation Force were somewhat slow, don't give up on the series! Nicolae takes off and doesn't slow down. This book is very well written. Read this book on a day when you won't have to put it down and leave, because you certainly will not want to! Adventurous throughout, and with an explosive ending that makes you crave for the next book (Soul Harvest), Nicolae is arguably one of the best books in the series, if not of any book out there.
