Summary: Stunning and surprizing performance by Mr. Stephen King
Review: First of I must say that reading this book after the satisfying "Desperation", left me between two worlds. The frighening- and the romantic/tragic KINGdom. The story of "Wiz&Glass" is indeed not only a continuing of the previous Dark Tower-series. This one turned out to be a standalone, romantic story. I have never spent a time reading a book which made me express so many different feelings; horror(Rea, the which), action/thrill(with the Gunslingers vs Big Coffin Hunters) and the sad,romance(between Roland and Susan). As a matter of fact I got so mad when the story of Susan and Roland ended that I only sat down crying when their fate revealed itself to me.I understood that King had helped me fall in love with Susan and the love they felt for eachother. At the same time I got so mad at King because he could do such a thing. I understand that it had to be this way, and it was "Ka" that had to send Roland on his quest to find the DARK TOWE! R. It's a gift from S.King to us all!

Summary: It wasn't the best, but it's GREAT!
Review: I thought the initial clash with Blaine was superbly done! Very clever. The story of Roland's troubled 14th year was also well-written; a nice, meaty develpment of a hostile situation. I thought the ending was horrible. It felt like Stephen said, "OK, 750 pages is enough, let me just wrap this sucker up quick." Selah. I can't wait for the Dark Tower, part 5.

Summary: Best Dark Tower Yet
Review: I have read almost all of Stephen King's books and I must say that this was one of the best. It ranks right up there with It and the Stand. Some people said it was too long but I for one couldn't put it down. I thought the whole flashback thing was wonderful, it really gave you a chance to learn what the characters, especially Roland, are all about. A must read for any Dark Tower fan. Don't put off getting this book, read it now! Hopefully the next one will come out a bit sooner though...

Review: As with all of King's books, you think you've read the best - until he comes out with another one and Wizard and Glass is no exception! It left me wanting to know more about Cuthbert and Alan: what happened to them and how Roland caused their death. Surely that has to be a guilt trip Roland is on. The part of Wizard and Glass I loved the best was where Cuthbert came into the saloon just as Sheemie was about to lick the Big Coffin Hunter's boots. I put a Post-It note on that page and everytime I read it I laughed again. When you can mentally picture a scene happening, the author has you hook, line, and sinker!

Review: This is absolutly the best fantasy/horror series ever, it compelled me to the very end and left me, once again, yearning for more. King keeps many readers in suspense for many years, but if he can turn out something this spectacular, than it is more than worth the wait.!

Review: Back in the mid 80's my uncle was in the hospital. ihad read everything in the waiting room, and was needing more. I went down to the giftshop and came upon the book "The Gunslinger". That was the start of my journey into the world of Roland. Every book has gotten better to the point of saying, "it doesnt get any better than this." But once again, Stephen King has changed my mind. With the fourth book, the travelers move thru mid world at a slow pace, but you learn so much about Roland. The book focuses mainly on Rolands spotted past and how he came to be who he is. I look forward to reading the next installment, which can in no way, be the last.

Review: The Dark Tower Series is awesome on its own but with the incredible storytelling skills of Frank Muller this series is completely captivating. If people ever start searching for books on tape by reader it will be because of Frank Muller.

Review: I love the DT series and this book was the best yet. I have read this book twice already. I feel as if I know and understand Roland more completely now. Alan and Cuthbert are wonderful characters and add amazing dimension to the saga. I have been reading Steven King books for 25 years now and reading the DT books makes me feel as if I have discovered this writer for the first time again. Steven...please get back to your 'puter and write us the next one. You remain the ultimate storyteller.

Summary: My God... It's so amazing.
Review: Next to Insomnia and the Stand, Wizard and Glass is Mr. King's best book ever. It takes place in the town of Hambry, where a conspiracy and a horrific holiday sacrifice are uncovered by the young Roland and his Ka-Tet. Wizard and Glass explores the real meaning of Ka and throws you into Roland's past, where betrayl and death linger in the shadows. By far the best Tower book, and maybe King's best overall, not only because of the plot, but because it shows a peak at Roland actually being a boy. (I couldn't believe the great gunslinger was a boy once either!)
