Rating: Summary: Beautiful, elegant book, just like Salmona's works. Review: A beautiful book on the works of this outstanding Colombian architect, whose highly elaborated work among the years has been constantly growing in richness and prowess. The book features fabulous pictures of the main built projects of Salmona's career, and some short yet beautiful texts written by Salmona himself, accompanying the pictures. I would have liked to find more biografical information about him, more sketches, some brick details, more information on the design development of the main projects, not just the finished, nice results. But I understand that the book was done exactly as Salmona's personal philosophy in life and architecture is said to be: that he believes the architect as an individual is not an important subject to talk about. That the works of the architect say it all. The book is done according to this thought.Felicitaciones a Rogelio Salmona por su admirable trabajo de tantos años. Felicitaciones a Ricardo L. Castro por su libro y a Villegas Editores por la calidad en la elaboracion del libro.
